I've checked the Italian version, and there's no additional Grimi information. I've also checked goal.com-- which usually tracks obscure loan deals-- and there's nothing about this (yet?). Grimi is still on the Milan roster at acmilan.com, which may or may not be significant.

Anyone have any additional info about this, especially about where he's going (or has already gone to)?

Yeah, this is a good thing-- he looked to have potential in the games where he actually played, but I don't see Milan taking a chance on him until we're more sure of his abilities.

Wherever he's being loaned to, I really hope he stays in Italy. If we're trying to acclimate him to the Italian game then it would be quite pointless to send him off to a different league.

Yeah, he's an LB.

Considering that we only played him in (if I'm not mistaken) three Serie A games and one or two friendlies since we got him in January-- even with all of our defenders' injuries-- then unless we sell off a couple defenders, it's pretty unlikely Grimi would have gotten significantly more play than that with Milan next year.

He's not at all a bad player though. I saw him play against Udinese and Reggina, the only two Grimi games they aired here, and while he is certainly unpolished, he's a hard worker and the potential is there. I originally thought him some strange random signing, but after seeing him in action, I "get" it now and I think he could develop nicely if given a chance.

I hope the rumors about Siena are true, that would make a lot more sense. How many LBs does Siena currently have, anyway (I wonder where Grimi would be in the starting order)? With a loan to a club like Siena, I'm thinking he'd probably be second in line... I can't see him as a Serie A starter yet, and if he's much lower than second then there's not as much to be gained by loaning.

Well their starting LB (Molinaro) has just signed for us so I reckon they could do with one.
