He has got a point to prove this season , said it himself, he be a coward if he went back to Milan, not Sheva I have respected passed 5 years I have known.

He's gonna stay one more season at least.

He was considered teh worlds best a few years back, and now he's a shell of that man. He definitely needs to rejuvenate his career.

Milan and Sheva both need to move on, frankly.

That said, however, after winning the CL Milan is in a somewhat better position of power in regard to the Sheva situation than if we hadn't won it, as we've proven we can win without Sheva. That makes it more like Sheva is crawling back to Milan, and less like Milan is crawling back to Sheva.

Basically if Sheva (NOT Milan) is the one begging, I don't mind him coming back, though I'd prefer we move on and sign a totally new striker.

I cannot see Sheva begging to go back, I think he wants to prove his critics wrong in England so why would he want to return. The only reason I can see him returning is because he knows that he can adjust to the Italian league, but I think he wants to test himself and see if he will/ or can succeed else where. tbh unless Chelsea get the 30 mill back Shev ain't going anywhere, and Imo no one atm would pay that amount for him.

no chance that he would leave for that little. Also the article below says quite clearly that Sheva isn't going to Milan :

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi believes the club have been priced out of a move to take Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko back to the San Siro.


Shevchenko, 30, scored four Premiership goals in his first season after his £30m switch from AC Milan and has often been linked with a return to Italy.
Berlusconi told the club's television station: "We don't feel able to make any offer which can please Chelsea.
"There are insurmountable obstacles tied to the player's value."
Berlusconi added: "I'm very tied to Sheva and I have always expressed my approval for his possible return."

No one has yet signed for Milan this summer, despite the club saying they would buy one of Samuel Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Didier Drogba, Andriy Shevchenko or Brazil youngster Alexandre Pato.
"With the current squad we have we could say that we will do well next season. However we are in talks about two attackers, two champions, and we are confident at least one can play with us," Berlusconi said.
Earlier this month Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insisted Shevchenko can be a key player for the Blues next season.
Mourinho told BBC Five Live: "If he performs and shows me match after match he deserves to play, I'm very happy. "I hope Sheva can do it. If Sheva plays magnificently I have to play him and Didier Drogba together, that is no problem for me."

I wouldnt be surprised if he really does want to go back to Milan. Things havent worked out for him at Chelsea...yet. He has the full support of the Chelsea fans so im told so maybe he can finally be a top player for them next season.

He certainly has enough talent to make it at Chelsea. He might do better in the second season, but I think it depends on the formation Mourinho chooses. In a 442 or 4321 Sheva can do very well.

There had been reports over the past few months that the Ukrainian was looking for a return to San Siro after his disappointing spell at Stamford Bridge.

This week Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani added fuel to that particular fire.

“I cannot explain the reason behind his difficulties in England. I don’t follow Chelsea’s internal matters, but I think he never felt truly loved there,” commented the Vice-President.

“Could he return to us? I wouldn’t rule it out. However, he is a non-EU player and next summer we could only sign one more before filling our quota.”

A January transfer is impossible because Brazilian Alexandre Pato will take that spot.

Unsettled Chelsea hitman Andriy Shevchenko is set to discuss a January return to Milan, according to the English Press.

The Ukrainian international was a hero at San Siro between 1999 and 2006 when he found the net 127 times in 208 outings.

Despite President Silvio Berlusconi’s best efforts to keep him, Sheva decided to join Chelsea for £31m but hasn’t looked the same player in the Premier League.

According to The Sun, agent Ernesto Bronzetti will arrive in England within the next week to discuss the possibility of the 31-year-old making a £14m move to Milan.

Relations between Shevchenko and the Diavolo have remained warm and Berlusconi is godfather to Andriy’s eldest son Jordan.

Rumours that Chelsea boss Avram Grant has asked owner Roman Abramovich to sign Bolton’s goal machine Nicolas Anelka are said to have exacerbated Sheva’s unease in London.

It remains to be seen whether a financial settlement can be agreed, but the struggling striker would surely relish the chance to return to the scene of the most prolific period of his career.

It is also unclear whether Shevchenko or Ronaldinho will take priority in the world champions' winter transfer campaign.

The best thing Sheva can do !!! Milan is the best place for him. And he's the perfect player Milan needs. This way Milan will help Sheva, and Sheva will help Milan (with their scoring problem) ..
