Chelsea could sign Gilardino!!
Milan have been warned to make their move for Alberto Gilardino or risk losing him to Chelsea.
The Parma striker is a known target for the Rossoneri but his agent has suggested that the London club could pip them for his services.
"Chelsea are a danger to all Italian clubs because they can spend big on the transfer market," Francesco Romano told Radio Radio.
"People are saying that Gilardino is already a Milan player but that isn’t the case until an agreement is reached with Parma."
The Italian international has openly admitted that he would like to remain in Italy, but Parma’s financial problems may force them to sell to the highest bidder.
"The player’s desire is important but Parma will also take into account whatever bids are tabled," added Romano.
"There are a number of solutions to evaluate even if his asking price won’t be affected should the Gialloblu be relegated."
Whispers suggest that Milan have offered £18m but that bid was rejected as too low by the Tardini club.
They are hoping to net around £25m instead for the former Piacenza and Verona hotshot.
Chelsea would easily be able to afford that figure even if they are unlikely to risk ruining their ‘friendship’ with Milan by commencing a bidding war.
More should be known about Gilardino’s future once Parma have played their survival play-off games against Bologna.

its an average reason at best...many factors also contribute..
crespo and veron are hooks in both milan clubs side.....juve dont need gila and have made no intent to get him....instead preferring cassano.

Gilardino is back?
Well what do you all think? I'm personally happy for him. He seems to be finding the net more regularly, and that goal on the weekend..WOW!

Well, he started slowly, and many were doubting him. If you had faith, more power to you. He seems to be hitting top form, and Sheva has cooled down a bit.

i admit, he started slowly, but alot of players have. and based on his consistency the last 2 seasons, he wasn't going to stop lol, especially when signing with a big club like milan.

Well in regards of Gila, everyone must admit, he was **** earlier this season, but he should still be credited for the fact that he still scored goals depite playing poor.

That's how we know him, he starts off slowly (which was even more expected this season because he joined a new club) but ends great. Last season he only had 3-4 goals at the end of the first half of the season but ended on top if I'm not wong.
