Galliani: Ronaldinho and Shevchenko are 180 per cent Milan players
Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has declared that the club have all but signed Ronaldinho and Andriy Shevchenko, stating that both are “180 per cent Milan players”.
All In An Evening's Work
Over the past week or so, reports in the Italian press have been strengthening that Ronaldinho will be signing for Milan.
Last night sources in both Italy and Spain claimed that an agreement had been reached between all parties to take the Brazilian to San Siro, seemingly after Barcelona and Milan agreed a cut-price deal.
Onda Catalana Radio had claimed that Galliani flew to Barcelona yesterday and that a meeting took place between him, Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Roberto de Assis, middleman Ernesto Bronzetti and Barcelona director Txiki Begiristain.
De Assis has since strengthened talk of an imminent transfer.
“We only want to talk to Milan,” he had confirmed. “He [Ronaldinho] will either go there or stay at Barcelona.”
The Prodigal Son Returns
Meanwhile Milan have also been working hard to bring back old favourite Shevchenko back to the club - with bossed Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani keen to see their former favourite back in a red and black shirt.
The Ukrainian has had a miserable time since leaving to join Chelsea in 2006, and is reported to have made an emotional phone call to Carlo Ancelotti earlier this week, in which he coaxed the coach to re-sign him.
Chelsea are happy to offload him for a lot less than they signed him for, and it seems that the San Siro gates have been opened for him as well after Carletto gave the nod.
Galliani's Rubber Stamp
Galliani has confirmed that both deals are practically done.
“Ronaldinho and Shevchenko are 180 per cent Milan players,” he told journalists last night.
Both players are expected to cost just in excess of 20 million euros each.

Dinho - Sheva - Pato
Now that's some attack to be afraid of.

Ancelotti Welcomes Ronaldinho & Sheva
Reports have been strengthening over the past week or so that Milan were closing in on Ronaldinho and Shevchenko and last night Vice President Adriano Galliani stated that both were “180 per cent Milan players”.
“Shevchenko? I never expressed myself negatively on his possible return, nor that he could not play together with Pato,” said Ancelotti at today’s press conference.
“I just limited myself to say that the two players have similar characteristics and in any case I’m convinced that f Sheva returns he would be useful to this team.
“Ronaldinho? Intriguing. For us he would be a new player, between a ‘trequartista’ and an attacker.”

So what will become of Kaka?
This makes no sense to me, they'll have to many attacking players that demand a starting place in the side.

Ronaldinho Agrees Terms With Milan
Quote:
Ronaldinho’s brother and agent Roberto de Assis has confirmed that the Barcelona star has agreed terms over his move to Milan.
On Thursday night Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani revealed that Ronaldinho was “180 per cent” a Rossoneri player.
In the hours since this declaration, the jigsaws in his proposed summer move have continued to fall into place, and de Assis has now confirmed that there is a preliminary agreement between Ronaldinho and Milan.
"In general, Ronaldinho and Milan are in agreement," de Assis told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper goes on to say that the contract will be until 2012, and will net the Brazilian €8million-a-year.
Milan will pay Barcelona between €20-30million, with Ronaldinho buying up the rest of his Barcelona contract.
Milan transfer guru Galliani has also confirmed that a deal has been reached with the 28-year-old, but said that there is still much to discuss with Barca.
"There is a general agreement with the player,” he stated.
“Now a deal has to be reached with Barcelona. Give us time.”
Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti earlier stated today that his club would fight Milan for Ronaldinho’s signature, however the chances of this now look very slim.

------- Sheva/Pato
-Ronaldinho--------Kaka - or flatten that 3.
Would depend on your next coach but it looks like Ronaldinho will definately become a Milan player for next season. Much like the fantastic 4 at Barca only a maximum of 3 play at a time due to injuries and suspensions so you don't need to worry that much about them all available at the same time.

I'm not sure how fast Pato is but the other 2 aren't that fast...deadly yes but very slow.

Well he clearly isn't if he left the club...especially as it seems he left for the money... If you are a Milan player and love the club no amount of money can take you away from them.

I'm pretty sure he meant that it's certain they'll be playing for Milan next season, not that they support Milan.
And I know Milan are great at extending players' careers and sometimes giving them second winds, but the staff are going to have a hell of a job on their hands with both Shevchenko and Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho just needs to get back in shape, a summer at the Milan Lab will sort him out. He's gone stale, a move away from Barcelona will do him good.
Shevchenko is a little different as he's already past his prime, Berlusconi needs to think about that move carefully.

I personally wouldn't say that Sheva is past it. Yes he didn't fit into the EPL and yes he has had some injuries but i personally think that he was it takes to get right back into the flow of Serie A. He succeed when he was there if anything the EPL made him focus on his weaknesses and so technically he should come back to Serie A better than ever. I mean he knows what it takes to succeed with Milan and I think if he goes back it will be like he never left.

Sheva back to milan be great signing, I can go out on a limb, say he score near 20 goals next year for Milan , he is just wasn't good enough for EPL, Serie A, fit right in. Intelligent players never loose there nack for scoring.

I won't believe this until i see a Ronaldinho press conference in Milano. Milan have been teasing their fans for too long.

Chelsea bought a player who had already reached his peak, and switching football style, language, culture just accelerated his decline.
Signing Sheva is a very poor move. Although with Ronaldinho and Kaka behind him, Im sure he will score goals, but he wont be the same force he once was.
Milan are really clueless on the transfer market. Zambrotta and now Sheva. 2 players who are a shadow of their former selves. In 2 years, they are going to have to replace those positions again, and probably with 2 more 30+ yr olds.
