Rossoneri turn to Ruud!!
http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/jun28i.html
With Alberto Gilardino’s price-tag still too expensive, Milan have reportedly turned their attention towards Ruud van Nistelrooy.
There are claims that the Dutchman has already given his verbal consent to the move after a disappointing and injury-ravaged campaign at Old Trafford.
Sir Alex Ferguson would allegedly be willing to part with van Nistelrooy for £10m, though that figure could be lowered by the inclusion of Jon Dahl Tomasson (pictured) as part of the deal.
Italian newspapers suggest that the former PSV Eindhoven hitman’s agents travelled to Milan in order to propose the switch and the Rossoneri are content with the financial package – considerably smoother than the £25m Parma have requested for Gilardino.
A new striker is needed at the San Siro, as Hernan Crespo is increasingly unlikely to extend his Serie A stay. Chelsea are finding it difficult to sign a replacement for the Argentine and are selling Mateja Kezman to Atletico Madrid.
“I am not relaxed at all,” revealed Crespo in the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’. “I am trying not to think about it and wait to see what happens. I want to talk to Chelsea over the next few days, but my agent has told me to stay calm and is trying to set up a meeting.”

I dunno where you get some of this stuff from Morrison...nothing that only has 'there are claims' as the basis of the entire story should be posted.

Dalla Bona joins Doria
http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...lia/jul1i.html
Sampdoria have completed the loan signing of Samuele Dalla Bona from Milan on Friday afternoon.
The 24-year-old arrives at Doria after scoring six goals in 36 games while on loan at Lecce last term.
The former Chelsea player, who will be presented to the media next week, will provide competition for central midfielders Sergio Volpi and Angelo Palombo.

No More Signings For Milan ?
Found this report on Sky Sports about Milan
Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani looks to have closed the door on a move for Parma striker Alberto Gilardino.
The Italy striker (pictured) is poised to leave the Gialloblu this summer, despite having helped the club to maintain their Serie A status last season.
Gilardino, who turned 23 on Tuesday, was widely tipped to join the Rossoneri for the forthcoming campaign, with talks due to have taken place this week.
However, Milan's decision to sign fellow striker Christian Vieri from arch-rivals Internazionale looks to have ended the San Siro club's interest in pursuing a deal for Gilardino.
With former loanee Hernan Crespo returning to parent club Chelsea, Galliani stated that Milan are happy with the present state of their squad and that Parma are asking too much for their prized possession.
"Milan's market is absolutely closed," Galliani told Sky Italia. "We are covered in all roles.
"I'm satisfied in this way, then we will see this winter what will happen.
"We won't take part in any auction, or better, we would take part should it start from a lower sum, but on these levels, there isn't an auction.
"The €30 million asked is really too much. I think today's football can't support these sums.
"With this evaluation, unfortunately, we will disappoint our Milan supporters."
With Milan seemingly stepping out of the race, the news should alert both Inter and Premiership champions Chelsea to Gilardino's availability.
Gilardino himself, meanwhile, had earlier declared his preference to join the Rossoneri, but with Milan not seemingly an option at this stage, his future could lie with another club.
"In this moment, I'm again a Parma player," he said.
"In my mind, I have clear ideas about what future I'd like for me.
"Milan are a 'reserved lane' - there is a reciprocal esteem, but I don't exclude other teams who could enter the race.
"I didn't expect this negotiation would have been so long. I thought after the Serie A play-offs that everything would have been solved.
"I hope Parma will help me because we have a big friendly relationship and it would be better to leave in the right way.
"I know my will can be fundamental."
Gilardino's agent, Beppe Bonetto, had insisted that Milan's signing of Vieri would not affect his client's proposed move to the Giuseppe Meazza.
"For Alberto's signature, Milan are always in pole position," said Bonetto. "They are always his first thought.
"Vieri's signing doesn't block his deal because his arrival is bounded to being Crespo's replacement."
( I'm not sure how you make a link or insert text from elsewhere into your post as I would have done that, I'm new around here and still getting used to everything !)

AC Milan accept Benfica bid for Tomasson
Quote:
AC Milan have accepted a £2.5 million bid from Benfica for striker Jon Dahl Tomasson.
The Danish international was made available by Milan following the Bosman signing of Christian Vieri last month.
Benfica coach Ronald Koeman confirmed his interest in Tomasson earlier this week and the Portuguese champs followed that up with a firm offer yesterday morning.
Tomasson is due in Portugal today to finalise terms on a £1.7 million-a-year contract with Benfica and to undergo a medical.

More than I thought they would get.

He's in the right league now. I'm still surprised that Milan kept him for solong, but they did get good mileage out of him.
