Interesting... here's another Pezzini one too:
Quote:
AC Milan go for Gremio schemer Pezzini
tribalfooball.com - April 02, 2007
AC Milan are launching a bid for Gremio midfielder Lucas Leiva Pezzini.
The 20 year-old Brazilian is already a member of Dunga's national squad and is being lined up by Milan as understudy to Rino Gattuso.
Pezzini has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid, but the chance to join the Brazilian contingent at Milan will prove difficult resist.

If anyone has watched him play, is he suitably Gattuso-like? If so then I sure wouldn't mind us grabbing him, as I'm of the opinion that one can never have too many Gattusos. We do already have Brocchi for Gattuso understudy, but Brocchi's 30 and it would be nice to pick up an additional pitbull type who we'll be able to keep around for longer.

AC Milan seek option for Torino striker Rosina
tribalfooball.com - April 02, 2007
AC Milan are seeking first refusal for Torino striker Alessandro Rosina.
Milan are prepared to wait until Rosina's Granata contract expires in 2009 before taking the exciting attacker to the San Siro.
Torino sports chief Doriano Tosi revealed over the weekend they were keen to extend Rosina's current deal, but the player may choose to delay talks after being contacted by Rossoneri intermediaries.
Roma are also monitoring the striker's situation.

In the link I posted it says he is a replacement for Kaka. And it says that he was leading goalscorer last season, so why woudl he be Gatty's understudy? Very confusing... I wonder which one is right!
The Rosina is also mentioned in the Rosina thread. Wouldn't mind him either... actually I hav ebeen wiating for this...

Well, Rino keeps trying to score lately, so maybe the writer of the Tribal one got confused. Given the one you posted I do think it's more likely he is a Kaka-type player... though if that's the case, how much do we really need this guy when we have Gourcuff?

I thought the exact same thig when redaing the article. But now, in the Italian press today it is said that Gourcuff will start instead of Seedorf for tomorrow as Carlo was disappionted with Seedorf. Good news, I hope Gourcuff does take place for Seedorf, i like the Goucuff and Janku combo on the left!

Carlo is disappointed with Seedorf? Wow... that might be a sign of the apocalypse!
But seriously, I thought Gourcuff looked better than Seedorf last time they both played, so Gourcuff starting sounds like good news to me. Seedorf is a gamble, he can be very good or very bad.

Yeha and Gourcuff playing should be good as he will be out to prove that he deserves to play more. I saw an interview (and he was speakgn italian ) and he was saying that he has a lot of determination and he wnats to prove it so tomorrow night will be teh perfect time for Gourucff to prove his worth!

Well better late than never, if only he'd had this revelation two or three years ago.

Two from Tribal:
Quote:
Livorno keeper Amelia back on AC Milan radar
tribalfooball.com - April 13, 2007
Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia is again being linked with AC Milan.
Amelia has refused to enter new contract talks with Livorno, fueling talk that he plans to leave at the end of this season.
AC Milan have been a long-term suitor for Amelia and with doubts persisting over Dida, talk has sparked again of a move for the Italy international.
|
tribalfootball.com - Livorno keeper Amelia back on AC Milan radar
I'm sorry, but that's the ultimate irony. When Dida really sucked, there were no rumors-- none-- about us going after other keepers. Dida had an excellent game against Bayern and NOW the new keeper rumors come out? Hey, if we really do end up with Amelia, I'm not complaining. But if Dida keeps playing like the did on Wednesday, I don't mind sticking with him either.

AC Milan's Jankulovski wanted by Napoli
tribalfooball.com - April 13, 2007
AC Milan fullback Marek Jankulovski is being linked with Napoli.
Milan are keen to bring Barcelona defender Gianluca Zambrotta back to Italy in the summer, which would limit the first team chances of Jankulovski next season.
If Napoli win promotion, the Czech Republic international would be interested in a move should Milan clinch Zambrotta's signature.
|
tribalfootball.com - AC Milan's Jankulovski wanted by Napoli
I don't like this. We need Janku AND Zambrotta (or someone else who can play that position), since if we have only one of the two and he gets injured, we're down to Favalli or Kid Mystery (Grimi).
Edit: ...I forgot that Serginho is back. OK, so adding another high-quality LB would mean some of them wouldn't get as many starts as they'd probably like.

I thought that Seedorf played really well the other day. He scored the first goal im pretty sure, and if it wasnt for his no look heel pass, inzaghi never would have put #2 in the goal.

He did! He's been seriously hit-or-miss all season-- and as a result many feel that he shouldn't start so much as he does-- but in the second Bayern game he was truly excellent. As you said, he scored the first one himself and had that great assist for Pippo that ended up leading to the second.
He can be frustrating, but I like him (OK, more for his personality than for his play this season... until now) and I'd like to see him do well. Hopefully his performance in Munich is a sign of more good things to come.

Ya i think so too. Milan has got so many good players up front though, and when one of those guys isnt pulling their weight they have got a lot of players to do so. Andrea Pirlo has been one of my favorite players for a long time, and hes really earning his keep right now. He had that great header goal last week, and i think he might of socred another one this week, or headed it and the rebound poped out front which got headed in by another player, i cant rememeber, and Pirlo can strike from outside which adds another weapon to his arsenal. Not to mention inzaghi and gilardino. They have got enough of the azzurri on their team to wear blue jerseys if they had to. haha. Im suprised that they are as low on the table as they are. I think they will finish up the season with a win in the champions league, and i think they will pull ahead and finish in the top 4 in the serie a table, even though that means my rosaneri wont, but ill be happy either way.

I somehow don't see Janku moving back to Napoli, I think he oves it here and said he wnats to end his career here, and I would love him to end it at Milan too.
I like seeing rumours about Amelia, good stuff!
Keep them coming.
But in all truth, I don't see Janku leaving.
Now guys, this is interestig stuff, I have a reliable source (Diabolico knows all about it) but I am not 100% sure if it is true, but the way it was being spoken about is, sounded like it was a done deal.
A source tells me Rijkaard is definitly coming to Milan, and he is bringing along 'Dinho. Now we have all seen rumours on this, but my source sounded 95% sure it was a done deal. Unfortunatly i didn't have time to aks questions, but tomorrow I may.
Good, news? Bad News?

Latest news is Milan on a south american mission (surprise, surprise):
Quote:
Milan: In arrivo Pezzini e Belluschi
|
3 players been rumoured to Milan:
1.) Pezzini (who has been rumoured before), milan are aparenly in pole position for him
2.) Bellushi, for River (atletico have also made a bid)
3.) Banega, Boca too!
