We should just stick with Nev and Brown for now... no point panic buying as the best targets( Alves, Bosingwa and Lahm are all taken).

we will not panic but if he leaves it will leave a hole when got injuries and suspension to deal wth but even then we still have some good youngsters whom i would really like to see given more games this time.just to easy them at an early stage wth the rest of the core squad.

Agreed, Neville is still the club captain, and Brown's did have a good season. The fact is we had the best defensive record in the league last season, so why would we need to go for a £15m-£25m RB? The only point would have been to get a more attacking RB in, and as Neville can cross, and all of the good attacking fullbacks are off the market, there wasn't so much of a need, I guess.

But if Silvestre goes, he needs replacing.
