EPL: Manchester United 4-1 West Ham United [03.05.08]
Quote:
Old Trafford was a sea of noise and colour against Barcelona on Tuesday night and Giggs says supporters can again play a part on Saturday.
“Hopefully the crowd will be just as passionate as they were on Tuesday night. It does make a difference, especially to the opposing team. It was such a ferocious atmosphere on Tuesday; it was brilliant.

giggs on the league match, im wth him.lets hope ot can roar again for the final home game and again at the jjb
still a big concern regarding rooney, vida seems more likey to miss it but we are quite well covered in terms of defense at the moment.

Man Utd v West Ham
Quote:
Manchester United will definitely be without defender Nemanja Vidic for the crucial match against West Ham following his recent concussion.
However, striker Wayne Rooney (hip) could be fit to start on the bench and Patrice Evra, who was stretchered off at Barcelona in midweek, will start.
West Ham expect winger Julien Faubert to have shaken off a slight hamstring problem to be fit to start.
However, Freddie Ljungberg (rib) has been added to the list of injuries.

BBC SPORT | Football | Premier League | Man Utd v West Ham
The squad:
Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Neville, Brown, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Evra, O'Shea, Ronaldo, Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Fletcher, Rooney, Tevez, Kuszczak, Pique, Welbeck.
This is a huge game, I don't know what the team will be like, the backline could either include Pique at CB with Brown at RB or same as Wednesday with Hargreaves RB and Brown CB.
I'd guess at a sort of 4-4-1-1 sort of thing with Tevez and Ronaldo up top, Park and Giggs on the wings and Anderson and Carrick in the middle.
Big game though, we're more likely to drop points here than against Wigan (although neither ought to be particularly likely) so a win here will really put the pressure on Chelsea on Monday.

West Ham have a good record against Man Utd. Altho without the mighty Tevez this time @ O.T.
I read the other day that Wigan chairmen is doing something to the pitch for the Man Utd game so that will help you lot. They havent done to bad against top teams though.
But really if Man Utd play anywhere near there best they should win.

Ashton has impressed me. Very strong. Rio and Wes dont look that comfortable when dealing with him.
I've never really liked Nani, but the way he fell down what a nob. Embarrasing. Makes Drobga threatrics look nothing. Plus I think Nani put his head in more than 1nce on the way up.
Still see Man Utd winning it but wont be easy now.

Carrick, with the aid of a deflection, makes it 4-1.

Nani is officially a first class little wanker. His football has been absolutely shite all season and this isn't the first try with these BS tactics normally I'm all for giving players a couple of years to make an impact but I want this little b*tch shipped out now
