Welbeck is different anywho, only comfortable on a wing cutting inside, I would say poor inside like a ST or AM, very fast, very skillfull when on the dribble and most important thing is he can get his name on score sheet. Welbeck will proberly be the same hight as Rossi, needs to strengthen up a lot too, age is on his side though.

Simpson agrees new deal
Reds' defender Danny Simpson has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2010.
The 20-year-old, who joined in July 2003, spent last season out on loan, gaining significent first team experience along the way.
After a successful four-month spell at Royal Antwerp at the start of the 2006/07 campaign, Simpson was snapped up by Sunderland boss Roy Keane for the remainder of the season.
Simpson, along with fellow United loanee Jonny Evans, became an integral part of the Black Cats defence as Keane's side clinched promotion to the Premier League.
Simpson is now a fully fledged member of United's first team squad following some impressive displays in pre-season.

Reds winger joins Plymouth
Young Reds winger Lee Martin has joined Championship side Plymouth Argyle on a three-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old had loan spells with Rangers and Stoke City last season, but his only appearance for the Reds this season came in the Carling Cup defeat to Coventry City.
Sir Alex Ferguson had hoped to give Martin and United's other young guns experience in the competition, but as that avenue has been blocked off, the Reds boss has pledged to send some of his youthful crop out on loan.
"Lee brings something we haven't got. He likes to run with it and take people on," Holloway told Plymouth's club website.
"He's a fresh young talent who wants to learn and get first team experience. We've been following him for about three years and we believe in him."

Wolves snatch Gibson
United's young Irish midfielder Darron Gibson is set to join Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan.
The 19-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who will stay with Mick McCarthy's Championship side until January, made his United debut a day after his 18th birthday in the Carling Cup win over Barnet in October 2005.
He has not experienced any further first-team football since, but he has been a regular and impressive performer in the Reds' reserves.
McCarthy believes Gibson, an attacking midfielder, will add depth to his promotion-chasing team's midfield department.
"Darron is a talented midfielder that will bring us real competition for places in central midfield," McCarthy told the official Wolves website. "He is only 19 but he is a good player and has a good range of passing."
Gibson could make his debut against Charlton Athletic on Saturday 20 October.

2nd player heading out after the carling cup .lets hope they all get the much needed experience.

After his performance against Wigan, he has impressed me. I know it's only Wigan, but his passing was quality.

Hull aim to keep on-loan Campbell
Hull boss Phil Brown will do as much as he can in a bid to keep striker Fraizer Campbell at the KC Stadium until the end of this campaign.
The on-loan Manchester United player, produced a match-winning display in the 2-0 win against Wolves on Boxing Day.
"Anybody who scores goals is an important asset," said Brown.
"He is on loan until the middle of January and as far as I'm concerned it is a no-brainer - I'd like to keep him until the end of the season."
Brown added: "I will try to do as much persuading as possible, but the decision is out of my hands."
Campbell agreed a loan deal to stay with the Championship side until January.

I think he's scored 6 goals in 12 games (and 1 assist) for mid-table Hull this season. That's a pretty good return.

Evans heads to Sunderland on loan
Sunderland have signed Manchester United centre-back Jonny Evans on loan until the end of the season.
The Northern Ireland international spent part of the 2006/2007 campaign on loan at the Black Cats.
Evans made 19 appearances for the Black Cats in his last loan spell.
Evans goes straight into manager Roy Keane's squad for Saturday's FA Cup third-round home tie against Wigan.
The 20-year-old was bailed in December after a police investigation into an alleged rape at a hotel in Manchester city centre.

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Sunderland | Evans heads to Sunderland on loan
Good move, he needs the experience and he won't get it with United but Sunderland really need a solid defender. Another addition to the United contingent at Sunderland though...
We've also loaned out Kieran Lee to QPR for the rest of the season.

Simpson moves to Ipswich on loan
Quote:
Ipswich have signed Manchester United defender Danny Simpson on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old has played eight times for United this term, but he is set to lose his place in the first team once Gary Neville returns from injury.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: "It is good for the lad. The boy needs games."
Simpson is in Ipswich's squad for Saturday's game at Scunthorpe, subject to the completion of the deal.
And he will be hoping to win promotion from the Championship for the second season in a row after being on loan at Sunderland when they were promoted a year ago.

Also Fraizer Campbell is having a really great season, banging in loads of goals at Hull, and a lot of interest is developing. A rumour today:
Hull City and Charlton want Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell - who has been on loan at the Tigers - but will have to pay £4m for him. (Mirror)

I think we should hang on to him for a bit. He should have done enough to at least deserve a chance at United, especially seeing as we don't really have that many strikers...
