Malouda is a player I don't rate in the slightest - I'd hate to see him join us. That Heinze report, that he can buy out of his contract, I think is true, but inadequate, because it would cost him £8m anyway, apparentley. Reo-Coker isn't happening, with Hargreaves joining, which is a good thing I think. The whole Berbatov thing is a disapointment, but I don't think next year will be safe from resurfacing rumours on him signing. Dyer isn't someone we shouldbe looking at, true. I think the link was made purely because Spurs want him - transfer tug-of-wars between the two clubs gain speed in the media and it's becoming a case where, if they're linked with a player, we must be too, and vise versa.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to move for Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Manchester Evening News says Fergie is turning to the Holland international after receiving little encouragement from Tottenham over the availability of Dimitar Berbatov.

Ferguson will now concentrate his efforts on long-term target Huntelaar, who has scored a hugely impressive 60 goals in 74 appearances at the Amsterdam ArenA.

The United manager will be particularly impressed with the striker's efforts in Europe, bagging nine goals in nine Champions League and UEFA Cup games.
He will do United even more better front of goal.

Huntelaar would be a great addition to the squad - and probably cost half as much as Eto'o / Torres.

So it appears United have several strikers in mind:
- United to move for Huntelaar
- United monitor Ibrahimovic's Inter row
- United / Villa have Afonso Alves in sights

Umm ... yes please?

I was just about to post the Ibrahimovic thing, he wants big big money but it would the advertiser's dream, Rooney, Ronaldo AND Ibrahimovic in the same team!?

The attacking ability would be phenomenal, it's mouth watering but I highly doubt it'll materialise.

Ibra's problems at Inter are well documented - and AC Milan are being linked with a sensational swoop for him in th summer, too. Although the wages, aggro and risks are a weight, I'm sure Inter would much rather sell to us than their biggest rivals. That is if Inter's money doesn't make Ibra's problems go away before the summer.

The pace argument might come up here, though, as it would with Huntelaar, but his dribbling abillity, hold up play and aerial prominance makes him a mouthwatering prospect.

It's a Nike Commercial gone mad - Rooney, Ronaldo & Ibrahimovic!! Huntelaar brings so much to the table - 60 goals in 74 games is a phenomenal strike rate ...

im with unitedfan... he seems to have all the pace in the world and is good with the ball... but, he just doesnt ever seem to put it all together for france/lyon. doesnt seem to be passionate and doesnt seem to care about football very much... i dont rate him at all, wouldnt fit at united.
