No I didn't say it was true but
"In the tunnel he [Wenger] was publicly criticising my players, calling them cheats. I was told about this when they came into the dressing-room, so I went out into the tunnel and said to him: `You get in there and behave yourself, leave my players alone'. "
sounds like the they is the united players to me and if this ios what fergie said then "coming into the dressing room" would mean the united dressing room.
IMO if arsene did call united players cheats it isn't absurd to suggest that one or more united players passed this on to there manager.

lets be honest the press make a meal out of it well beyond what actualy goes on between these 2 guys .
they have alot of respect for each other and when and if they do give each other the odd comment its simply because the rivalry between united and arsenal now is so big .
none of them can say anythink with out some reporter blowing the cover and making a mountain out of a mole hill .
it wont stop and nor will the rivalry .

fergie wanted the press2 make a meal of it
gave a long interview specifically calling wenger 'a disgrace'
he wants it heated up, only way manure have any chance of even a point @Highbury,
is 2prevent a football match breaking out
worked at prawvnille- no football allowed, by any means necessary
admittedly its easier with red riley reffing
so at highbury he's hoping our players are willing to trade
willing to have a scrap instead of a match
he knows we are an infinitely superior footballing outfit

arsenal have come to ot the last two years for a draw, one shot on target in two games, hardly the dazzling invicibles we are led to belive they are

the only way we will even get a point ? are u fuckin mad ?
arsenal will be lucky to get a point jd ffs.
in recent weeks we look a better team than u do admit it .
we have closed the gap on u and considering the suposed distance in qaulity , we havent done so bad and the game next week will be tipped in our favour im sure of it .
and btw jd "an infinitely superior footballing outfit" which has been dragged all the way to only 1 point ahead of united !

we have undeniably had a dreadful run- polaying nowhere near at our capacity
but with Vieira and DB back2 their best as they where v the barcodes
we are an all 2gether different proposition
if we play at our best we (the champioins) are far better than "the two best teams in the league"

well the fact is ur not playing ur best so dont think we will be a walk over , if i was an arsenal fan id be worried of a defeat against united.
and at the moment united and chelski are the best teams in the league without question, both are on form .
we arnt conceding goals , and chelsi are showing united and arsenal how to play , there football at times has pissed over both us and arsenal , best football ive seen for yrs in fact.

jd im not getting into an argument m8 im just saying that u thinkin we should only think of a draw on tuesday is false.
we have been better than u for the last 6-7 games and we should go into tuesdays game expecting 3 points according to our form, arsenal will find us difficult to play .
plus u state without question ?
chelsea and united are the 2 on form teams , we have dragged arsenal all the way back to 1 point while chelsea have gone 10 clear of u .
and as for u are the champions , yes of course and i respect that last year you won the prem .
but this is a new season and does not mean because u are the champions that you will be at the end of the season
