I think we should forget abt the RONALDINHO issue... It;s the past... Yeah, no denying thats he's an AWESOME player... Someone that could eventually surpass ZIDANE's statue and ability, but in ROONEY, we've got one hell of a player!! Come on, show our support, he's still only 18, and he's scored more goals for England in less than 2 months than Heskey has ever scored!!..h haa. So, lets look to the future!! We've got an incredible array of young talent... ( RONALDO, ROONEY, SPECTOR, FLETCHER, SMITH ) = ( BECKS, SCHOLES, BUTT, NEVILESS) ?? Nah, I think better... So lets get POSITIVE!!!!

FLETCHER? IMO Fletcher is no where near Man United quailty and at best he is role player.

Theres a Manure fan for u, if Rooney went to Newc, it would have been, oh hes crap he is, which the only reason hes at Manure is because Newcastle pulled out because of the manager situation so call yourself lucky as he should be wearing a black and white striped shirt ''barcodes''

Smith is quite good, so is saha

He has been put in the first team too quickly, remember the lads been unlucky with injuries since he was 15. He was going to make his debut at 15 for united but was against the rule. He definally has talent, he has more talent then beckham did at 21. But you have to remember fergie also keeps putting him on the right, when hes play in the middle omg he has been great. IE the arsenal fa cup game he was brilliant.

Oh be quiet, you just got sore grapes he turned you down. Look you got a good strike force you dont need Rooney. Shearer still has 10 months in him

I'm just not sure he fit Man Uniteds style of play.

I have to agree with USSoccerman on this one. I was impressed with Fletch last year when he got his chance in the middle (not out right). But this season I feel he's declined a bit. He's been playing in his fav position and he's been less than impressive so far imo. He needs to up the quality of play or he'll soon find himself down the pecking order (P.Nev, Miller, Djemba, Kleberson, keane, Scholes).

I am but like I was saying before he doesn't seem like Man United starter quality, more as a nice player of the bench and he doesn't fit the style IMO. If united play a diamond midfield with a AM and DM he has no place IMO. To me Fletch is a true CM in flat 4 midfield.
