Not sure I'd be too happy with Cole on loan for a year. I would like him at City but on a more permanent basis, the only major problem with that is obviously the money. How much West Ham would want for him and how much we've got left.

If we had the money, surely we'd be a more attractive option than Everton!! Like I said obviously the money is the problem.

So cos it happened to Ipswich that obviously means it'll happen to City???? Logic?? But weren't Ipswich in div 1 when they played in the UEFA Cup, so there's absolutely no similarity at all. You've had your good season anyway, back to your relegation battle next year.

this comment proves you know nothin about football just tunnel vision on city ffs how u set the prem alight last season
and for the record ipswich have been in the uefa cup for the last 2 seasons and like city made it to the uefa in there first season in the prem only differance i can see is they deserved it unlike yourselfs
+ we may be in relagation battle but we never go down unlike yourselfs so remind me again why city would be a better choice than everton

Sorry Moyeside, not too sure what you're talkin about at all. They've only played in the UEFA Cup once (season 2002/03) in I don't know how long, and unless I'm mistaken, thru the same way we got in it!! For the record!!!
Anyway, less about Ipswich, I never said City set the Prem alight last year, but we had a good steady season, hopefully improve on that. Everton were good last year, I just don't think they'll be able to follow it up this year.
Not too outrageous a comment I wouldn't have thought.

IPSWICH HAVE BEEN IN THE UEFA CUP TWO YEARS RUNNING FIRST YEAR WAS FOR FINISHING 5 THEY WHERE KNOCKED OUT OF IT BUY INTER MILAN IF MY MEMERY SERVES ME RIGHT BUT U WOULDNT KNOW THAT BECAUSE YOUR LOT WAS WHERE THEY BELONG AND WHERE THEY WILL BE AGAIN IN THE FIRST DIVISION
THE SECOND SEASON BACK IN THE PREM FOR ANY TEAM IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST SO I DONT THINK CITY WILL GO DOWN BUT I DONT THINK THEY WILL IMPROVE
AND YOU STILL HAVENT GIVEN ME A ANSWER AS TO WHY CITY IS A BETTER CHOICE THAN EVERTON
PROBLY CAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHIN ABOUT THE GAME

You're obviously an expert?? Admittedly my knowledge of The Tractor boys isn't as good, but my false information was provided by an Ipswich website. Apologies.
Now, as far us being a better option than Everton, well I think that generally speaks for itself- We're moving into one of the best stadiums in the country, easily, with a capacity of 48,000, as averse to a somewhat downtrodden, very outdated Goodison Park. Despite last sesons league standings, I believe we are the side most likely to finish in the top 6. We boast top quality players ie Anelka, Distin, Sinclair, Seaman etc. You are correct in saying this season is harder than the last, but I think we have a stronger squad now (providing we replace Berko/Benarbia) and can improve on last year. As I previously stated, Everton had a good year last season, but anyone can see that it would take an enormous effort for them to just finish in the same place. An early season strike force of Campbell and Radzinski is hardly going to strike shivers through any team !!!!
