Default Robbie Keane

Few rumours circulating that we are chasing him. Most reports suggest a part exchange deal involving Peter Crouch, but others are saying Spurs are looking for circa £20m.

I think he is a superb player Keane, always been a big fan of his. I think over the past 2 or 3 seasons he has really developed into a top class player, maybe helped by the presence of Berbatov alongside him. He is very clever, has a great first touch, good team player, scores plenty of goals even though I wouldnt say he was prolific, and creates also. If we could get him for say £7m plus Crouch, I think it would be a terrific signing. Juande Ramos is said to be a fan of Crouch, and I'm pretty sure that Keane would jump at the chance to come to Liverpool, so fingers crossed from me.

A price tag on £20m should make the interest from Liverpool cool down. No way he's worth all that money. I doubt there will be a new £20m+ striker at Anfield in front of next season.
