In my eyes, through out both legs, the one at fault of his team's elimination is Riise.
First, he fucked up BIG TIME with the own goal. I mean. He could have easily used his right foot but noooo. He had to shit on his team.
Then, at Stamford Bridge. Fucked up as well. I dunno why Benitez decided to give him a 2nd chance.
On the first goal, after Reina made the save... He jogged towards the ball where Drogba was running like hell!!... What's wrong with him?? His priority was for him to make the clearance or make sure the ball was away from his goal.
Then, on the 3rd goal, he was caught napping and raising his hand as if he's the fucking line ref; saying that Anelka was offside. WHAT AN IDIOT. That should be the last thing a defender should do. You move! If it's indeed offside, then the dude will raise his flag and the whistle will be blown. BUT YOU DEFEND NO MATTER WHAT AT ALL TIMES.
If he hadn't made the own goal, his team would have gone with a 1-0 lead to Stamford Bridge. Things would have been different.
If he hadn't jogged when the first goal occured. It would have been most likely for it all to end 1-1 in normal time, where Liverpool would have progressed.
If he hadn't played the role of line ref, his team wouldn't have been 3-1 down, but 2-1 down. Where Babel's strike would have been golden and the spotlight of Chelsea's elimination would have been on Peter Cech, for not having dealt with it better.
Overall; Riise REALLY, REALLY fucked up. BIG TIME.
