Had a few silly moments from crosses, but we've gotta be happy with our first win at the Reebok since Heskey scored in 2002!!

Thought a few players stepped up their performances yesterday, Alonso & Babel in particular were on their game. Gerrard was man of the match, looked very comfortable with what appeared to be a free role. With Xabi back on form alongside the Monster Masch, we had a great platform. Maybe that formation (with a better RW than Kuyt- even though he played ok) is the way forward for us.

One of the saves of the season by Reina, unbelievable. For me this fella is right up there with Cech as the best keeper in the Premier League, he has a great presence and sweeps up so well behind the back four.

Seemed a bit strange to put Carra at RB when both Finnan & Arbeloa were available, but he did ok, and Skrtel & Hyypia did too. I like the look of Skrtel by the way, he had a dubious start against Havant(!) but he heads the ball well, he isnt afraid to throw himself around and he uses the ball sensibly. I will be interested to see what happens when Agger is fully fit, cos all of a sudden we have four centre halves competing. I hope Carragher isnt shunted permanently out to RB, but i feel he may be...

Still, first away win since boxing day, and a game in hand on Wednesday- which i will miss because i am at the Bernabeu!
