Harry Kewell
A man who has been the center of debate ever since his start w/Liverpool. It just frustrates me so much to see that he isn't even a shadow of his former self.
Considering that he was riddled with injury this season, I really hope he gets a chance to get himself back on par again. Optimism must remain when it comes to him because we all know what he could do to a defender just a few seasons back, but unfortunately I reckon he'll be shipped off sharpish.
Especially with the aid of the Hicks/Gillet team.
Oh yes, almost forgot. Against Fulham, he looked like he almost forgot how to dribble the ball. Goodness, surely he's gone. Has he?

I hope he stays. He's our best left winger and it's not easy to find a better left winger since there is not many option of left footed winger in the world who got high class. If Liverpool let him go, it will not be that he's not good enough. It because of how injury prone he is and his £70.000 a week wage...

I hope he goes, we need players who are 100% committed to the cause, not players who look for the earliest opportunity to duck out when things get tough. We would never have come back against Milan in 05 with him, he doesnt work hard enough.
That said, it will be hard to get rid of him, his injury proneness and his astronomical wage demands.

Just release him I suppose!
to make matters worse, Duff will be even harder to pry away from Newcastle now that they have a new manager.
Damn, who the hell is out there for a LW. I remember there was a shortage on wingers a few seasons ago, but it was right wingers. It's a bit odd.
So long as it's not Pedersen. Gamst that is. Great left foot, but that's it, and we have Riise already.

Kewell is out most decent left winger. We need a good replacement before we can let him go.It could also happen that Zenden contract will not be extended and he will leave us on Bosman. Then we only have Gonzalez left and he's far away good enough on this level.

LOL!
Well, not so much because their stop gap right-footed left winger is much better than what we have out on the left for the mo.

Kewell feeling fit and ready
Quote:
Liverpool ace Harry Kewell has declared himself fit for the UEFA Champions League final.
Kewell made his long awaited return from injury as a substitute in last weekend's defeat at Fulham.
The former Leeds man has seen this season blighted by injury after returning from the World Cup with groin and foot problems.
Kewell was delighted to return to action against Fulham and he believes he is close to full fitness.
"I've been working hard over the last eight weeks," Kewell told ESPN.
"We did testing the other day, everything went well.
"The manager's happy, the assistant manager's happy, the fitness coaches are happy, so it's literally down to the manager.
"I'm feeling as close to 100 per cent as I've ever felt before in my life, the only thing I'm missing is competitive games."

He was the man with the most to play for, and it showed. Perhaps this has been the first time he has been 100% fit since his first six months at the club.
