That's history and if we should talk about history of the club, then Liverpool will beat Chelsea big time. What's happen this season who counts now.Just have to wait and see.Liverpool will be winners again and all tournaments counts.A winner team tries to win it all unmatter what competition it is.

There you go, a Liverpool fan talking about history: nothing new. There's a reason why Liverpool fans talk about history rather than the present: it's because you haven't won a league title since 1990 and haven't broken into the top 2 since who knows when. You are history, Chelsea is making history. I took great delight in the fact that Chelsea took part of Liverpool's history away with the undefeated record at home. Same old story, "we will do better this season, we will win the title, blah blah blah". Bullshit. Making up the 15 points on Chelsea to break into the top 2 would be a good, if not a miraculous, start. Making up the 21 points on Man Utd is a dream all Scousers wet their bed to every night.

A winning team tries to win it all no matter what competition it is? Well I guess that disqualifies Liverpool as a so called winning team, seeing as they quit half way through last season on the league. Chelsea and Man Utd were still in for a quadruple far into the season.

It hurts, dosen't it?Liverpool have a history and Chelsea don't!

By the way...Liverpool still makes history. What Chelsea can win, Liverpool can win.It will be tough for Chelsea to write new history with teams like United and Liverpool with the same quality.Liverpool will not be 15 points behind Chelsea this season.I can promise you that. This will be the season they will race for the Premiership title all in.

We all ready wrote history this season,

tbh hole history argument is retarded, no one questions the success of the old Liverpool, most succesful club in English football, but to say to other cliubs have no history is retarded and naive.

I have to say, for a football fan in year 2007, it hurts more to see that your team hasn't won a league title since 1990 than to know that your club wasn't the most successful club back in the 80's. What matters is the present, not the past. I remember I read somewhere that Hungary used to beat Italy 6-1, 7-1, 3-0. Look where they are now.

One of the most common quotes from Liverpool fans: "This will be the season..." It hasn't been your season since 1990. The wait continues.

65 matches undefeated at Stamford Bridge and counting. History in the making.

Whatever, the point was made.

Exactly. Look at Notts Forest or Leeds. The present/future is all that matters if you want to go anywhere.
