Seems a bit of a lazy link anyway. Aragones lands at Fenerbahce and all of a sudden Alonso is linked. I think Xabi would be silly to go and play in Turkey at this stage of his career. Whether we tried to sell him or not this summer, he will still be an important player if he stays, and i cant see why a move to Turkey would be beneficial for him.

Not heard much, but i would imagine that Benitez wouldnt say no to a decent offer- £5m maybe.

i dont particularly like Benayoun, I dont think he is good enough for us on a regular basis. He is a tidy player and scored a few goals last season which surprised me, but overall he is a pretty average player.

Roma have already taken Riise off us, I wouldnt mind if they took Benayoun.....and does Spalletti fancy Voronin whilst he is at it??

Really?

You'd regret it if the pony-tailed man wound up at the Olimpico!

i know he is a big liability, but when u are short on all cylinders, to get a half cracked cylinder also will be big help.we are in dire strait in terms of forwards, if he comes and lets say makes a few sub appearance and gets a few goals would be helping enough for the coming season, after that we can try focusing on getting some one better wch roma are very stingy at.

Ecstatic. The further away from our team he is the better.

No he is still with us. He is about as creative as our midfield gets at this current moment.

No, that will have either been at the final whistle when we played Boro, or maybe you could be confusing him with Tuncay??

Either way he was certainly playing for us at Villa Park on Sunday.
