After all the shit Rooney got for doing a deal with The Sun a few years back, I wonder how you scousers feel about Saint Stevie taking NOWT's cash for them to serialise his book?

I think something should be done about all these ridiculous book deals players are signing...
In my opinion it has less to do with the players and more their advisors and other people talking them into it to earn some money off the players fame.

They don't seem to care. He can do no wrong and it is even advertised on their official site. Rooney rightfully got a bad reception when he had his interview deals with the sun but this seems completely different....

i never moaned about Rooney selling his story to the s*n, so i wont moan about Gerrard selling his story to the NOTW. as far as im concerned the pair of them can do what they want. i wouldnt do something like that, but i'm not them am i. each to their own.

Erm...Gerrard plays for Liverpool and Rooney plays for United and used to play for Everton...that puts Gerrard atleast two levels up on the human ladder compared to Rooney... |
