Default Kewell out for the Premiership opening

Once again Harry Kewell is out with a injury. He picked up a bacterial infection in the joints known as septic arthritis under the world cup tournament with Australia. He will be out at least six weeks.Tottenham have been linked with the player but i think his injury will cool down the interest from Martin Jol.Mark Gonzalez have finally granted work permit and is expected to play on the left side opening game anyway. But Kewell is a important cover for Gonzalez and will be missing.

I had tests for a septic joint about 8 months ago and was diagnosed as having gout. A septic joint is very very painful apparently, similar to gout (which is incredibly painful), but septic joints are very common in diabetics. Is Kewell a diabetic ?

Knowing what I know, I can't see Kewell returning in 6 weeks.

I want Kewell to stay at Liverpool so maybe this injury are a blessing to keep Kewell at Anfield. At least for a while...I do not want to see him in a Tottenham shirt. That thought makes me sick.

Why ?

Do you hate Spurs ?

Kewell played well for the last part of last season, but he's too inconsistent for my liking. That's why I think if Liverpool can get some more quality in, he'll be sold.
