What are you talking about?? Everytime he got the ball he looked dangerous. He gave Lahm(one of the best fullbacks in the world) a very tough time.

Maybe we were watching different games then because I seem to remember the guy giving us all sorts of hassle in the CL return leg at Anfield this season. Plus, he's got a decent set-piece on him (ask Utd fans  ) so shouldn't be discounted.
That said I would prefer a more natural winger with genuine pace and flair to give the side better balance. Step forward Alves or Joaquin.
Or more likely, Pennant!  |

Yeah, defo not worth £14m but unfortunately it seems any English club with relative success is deemed as rich as Chelsea so we as a consequence are getting raped by practically every club we try and deal with.
From what I've seen of Simao he's an efficient player with a good engine and a decent shot on him; like a more boring, cautious (albeit less prone to errors) version of Garcia. Although the main reason I hope we stear clear of him is that he's not a natural winger. If we're going to play with genuine width on the left in Gonzo (or Kewell) then surely we need to complement and balance that on the right??
Unless of course we're going for the 4-2-3-1 with the emphasis being on the "3" confusing the hell out of opposition defenders with their movement and variety of play.
Whatever we do, our squad is already stronger than last year so I'm already optimistic about the coming season. |

True, and it'll make for an even more exciting Premiership if Man Utd and Arsenal strengthen sufficiently as well.
At this moment, there is nothing I would love more than to see Mourinho not win a Premiership. Just to see the look on his face. |

Chelseas keep signing big players,What makes you think he is not trying hard enought to won titles?
Simao is a Good winger with a Good shot, But it's his consistency that is in doubt. I think he will Fit well with a English team.
