Cup Final
that time of year again, first FA Cup final since Saint Michael mugged Arsenal in 01. ive always loved cardiff trips, even if the place is a twat to get to in the car (train this year so it should be a lot smoother). cannot wait, i think the west ham fans will make this an excellent atmosphere and the way they play football should make for an interesting spectacle for the neutrals. i think we start as favourites, even tho it is by no means a foregone conclusion, and if we get the first goal then i cant see us losing. ive got a tenner on crouch for the first goal to cap a good debut season at the club, on the ale from 7am tomorrow and i cannot wait.

Liverpool win....piece of piss
West Ham play one way, it's not that great and Liverpool will feast off the counter attacks.

What a tense match!!! Nearly and if not as great as our Champions League final in 2005...we f***en INSTANBUL-ED them (don't mean any disrespect to Westham)
Gerrard's second goal was brilliant...just brilliant!!!
Did any see hist celebration after his first goal? he made some offending hand signals towards the Westham crowd
Cisse's goal was brilliant too! the pass and his run was even better!
But overall the match performances were only average, I can't believe Westham got so lucky with all three of their goals, all three were flukes...

No...but if Wet Spam hadn't have been very lucky a very average Liverpool performance would have won 3-0.

Yeah he did, he made the "up yours!" signal towards the Westham crowd, saw it two times on the replays of his celebrations.

Firstly, it was towards the Liverpool fans you blind fool, and if you thought that was offensive, then you have probably never seen offensive in your life. It was a celebratory 'come on' gesture.

it was to the liverpool fans soft lad, and it was a "fucking get in" gesture. we didnt "istanbul" them either, istanbul was a one off- 3 down to a world class side, 3 goals back in 6 minutes- today we had an hour to get 2 goals back against a mid table side. we should really be beating them out of sight.

West Ham were unlucky. They deserved the win.
Shocking pens though, but the first was a great save.
Congrats Liverpool.

How did Wet Spam deserve to win? They were pinned in their own half for 60% of the game and fluked all 3 of their goals.

They were hardly 'pinned in their own half' now. At 3-2 you never really got the sense Liverpool were going to get an equaliser.

FC UNITED OF MANCHESTER, variously described and derided as 'brave rebels', 'irrelevant outsiders' and 'a right bunch of dicks'. Living testament to that peculiarly Mancunian talent for gazing at the world in all it's wonder, thinking for a minute, and then muttering "Nah that's bollocks. This is how we'll do it..."

OH OH OOH! It's Carrick you know! Hard to believe it's not Scholes!

They were pinned in, it's just Liverpool barely applied pressure because they don't have the quality or presence up top.
