at last rafa has a win over manchester united under his belt, and a deserved one as well. first half we could and should have had more goals, finnan missed a sitter and giggs could easily have conceded a penalty. second half we got a bit jittery, but i dont think there was ever a time when it looked like United could equalise.

best wishes to alan smith as well, horrible injury. hope he's back playing again as soon as possible.

Liverpool played a really good game yesterday. My question is though how come penalties were not awarded to Crouch for having his shirt ripped off.

Because it was 50/50...If you gave a penalty for every tug of shirt there would be 15 a game.

Loved Rafa's response to the red nosed govan drunk's "liverpool only play for 5 minutes a game" comment "if we can win by only playing for 5 minutes, it would be horrible what we'd do to teams if we played for 90 minutes". Genius!

I like Rafa he is a funny guy. I liked when he said he had to shoot off to hospital to see if Robben was ok. Pure gold.
