Congrats from Fergie?
Quote:
Rafael Benitez has revealed he received an unusual congratulatory letter from Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson following the Reds' Champions League success last season.
Benitez admits he was swamped with 'well done' messages from friends and colleagues throughout the footballing world following the magnificent events in Istanbul, but he was left slightly bemused by Fergie's note.
He told Marca: "I received congratulations from people all over England and Spain.
"Ferguson sent me a very strange one with a tactical evaluation - on his personalised paper - of Liverpool's performance in the whole competition, and particularly the final."
|
i didnt know ferguson was such a nice guy... probably he wants allies to battle against his new enemy - jose...

just the three european cups in six campaigns for paisley then, plus, erm, 6 league titles, four successive league cups, a uefa cup, and a super cup. not that any united manager would know that, and pasley was only manager for half the time of fergie!

Hmmm.
He said that no Liverpool manager has won 8 league titles. You backed this up, like the fúcktard that you are, by citing the example of Shankley, who has won 6 league titles.
Now I know you probably didn't get much chance to go to school in Murkeydive, being as you were almost certainly hanging round an estate lobbing bricks and mugging grannies, but FFS it is simple maths.
Ferguson has won more league titles than any Liverpool manager.

And Ferguson more so than Benitez.
I didn't dispute Shankley/Paisley was more successful than Fergie, but Fergie has won more league titles. That was the point.

fergie has won 8 championships in 20 years u cretin, paisley won 6 in 10 (12 in 20) thats my point, plus more european cups, uefa cups and league cups. i think its fair to say that if big bob had carried on 5 more years then he would have won more than 8 titles.
and the jibe on "murkeydive" was fantastic, did u think of that all by yourself? if you did you deserve to give yourself a big pat on the back, thats the best i have ever heard that is. now i am off to go and mug a granny on the way to lobbing bricks at OUR european cup, but then you wouldnt know a thing about that now would u, u have only seen fleeting glimpses of it.

Kidd, McClaren and Queiroz, tactically superb. Fergie is tactically inept and has shown himself to be so everytime he's not had a good No.2.
Shankly and Paisley are in a completely different league to Slurgy. The dirty govan drunk isn't fit to clean their gravestones.
