Aulas confirms Baros interest!
The Czech Republic international looks set to leave Anfield this summer after four-and-a-half years on Merseyside.
Baros has struggled badly with injuries during his time in England which has limited him to just 45 league starts.
The 23-year-old has already admitted he would consider a move away from Liverpool and Valencia were leading the chase for his signature, but now the chance to link-up with former boss Gerard Houllier at the Stade Gerland could very well be the deciding factor.
Houllier will now travel to watch Baros in action on Wednesday when Czech Republic entertain Macedonia.
"Even if we want to remain as discrete as possible, I confirm Baros is on our list," confirmed chairman Jean-Michel Aulas.
"Sport director Bernard Lacombe and Gerard Houllier will oversee the next Czech Republic match."
