ok, im never going to convince you on sg. glad to see we agree on alonso, im dissapointed we didnt get im (would never have come though)

sami is a 7 and decreasing. was once an 8/9 max.

was a 7 at his best, always over-rated, Henchoz carried him for a long time. 5 or 6 now. I'll give him a 6 cos of his performance on Wednesday.

Pretty good ratings, i'd put carragher up to 8.5/9, but the rest seem pretty fair.

I agree Hyppia at a 6 is being nice but after wednesday I can see the leaning to a 6. But a 5.5 is probably fair.

I do agree though that it wont be very long, maybe even early next fall that Alonso is a 10, he really impressed me even after missing so much time. He's gonna be a great player for you.

And I agree in England Mori isn't a 9, in France he looks a 9/10 probably in Spain too. But the difference in styles does take a bit of his ability and minimizes it so a 8 is very good for him.

I do think garcia could be a bit higher than 7 but other than that I think they are both good lists.

i would say Pavel Nedved is better then SG

similar energy, but very different in that nedved is more attack orientated.

sg is better atm.

i dont think you can really say gerrard is THE best midfielder in the world, but he is probably the best at what type of job he does.

in a purely defensive role he is average and in a purely attacking role he is average, not enough skill/intelligence/discipline.

marvellous given a free role though.
