you mean final passes not assist! get it right

and the premiership is a lot easier to score in the other leagues.
there is loads of space for Henry to run into.

if Ailton played in the premiership he would score just as many and he is no where near world class.

and great players are rested when the game is won againts weak teams, Henry stays on to score more goals againts weak sides. He is just a choker! until he does it in big games and when it matters he cannot be up there with the very best.

only a fool would judge a player on how many goals he scores againts Norwich City and the like.

as for his International record he score as many goals as he likes in friendlys againts Malta and Cyprus to get his ratio up to 1 in 2.
but until he wins and scores in games againts Spain, Brazil, Italy, England, Holland etc and in tournements he is just average.

and thats why France are considering droping him, the guy you consider to be the best player in the world.

only final passes are recorded as assits.

step overs, making runs to take players away, or backing in to players is not.

Pires runs past 6 players and back heels it to Henry who produces the simple final pass to Ljungberg .

So Pires didnt assist the goal?

there is no such thing as an assist league.

I agree completely, often, a player may head a ball on for a goal, from a cross put in by a player who beat four men.

Assist league is rubbish.

Rule, you are cleary as deluded as what you were before your joyous absense.

Never heard Henry summed up so well. I once considered him worlds best bentex, but after reading that, I wonder.

Bentex talks out of his arse.

A player such as Pires in his example, is creating the goal, but Henry is assisting the goalscorer.

And his summing up of Henry is as ridiculous as it is longwinded.

It was very well written and quite accurate. Henry generaly does score against weaker teams, not the big ones? Now and again he does, but he is NOT a big game player.

Nonsense, Henry scores against all manner of teams.

It was a long winded ramble about nothing,

Does he score all of his 25 goals this season against poor teams and all his assists against the same.
He is by far the most oustanding player in the premiership and no-one has been able to match his scoring or creating abilities in the premiership for years. Even when he doesnt score or create, he terrorises defences like no-one else and has the most ability out of all attacking players in the league.

I dont doubt that he is a great player, but not the worlds best by a long shot.

I still say its the top three of him, ronaldinho and shevchenko, no-one else stands out in their perspective leagues as well as they do.
