Healy new captain
Quote:
Leeds striker David Healy has taken over the captain's armband until the end of the season.
The Northern Ireland frontman says he is honoured to be asked to captain the Elland Road club.
Healy takes over the role with skipper Jonathan Douglas suspended for the final four matches of the campaign.
The 27-year-old, who has scored three goals in his last four outings, will be hoping he can help inspire Leeds in their fight against relegation from the Championship.
"I was very proud when the gaffer asked me if I would become captain," he told the club's official website.
"It is genuinely a real honour to be asked to captain a club like this, I have no doubt about that.
"We've got four games left and I'm looking forward to them."
