Dennis Wise has bolstered his squad ahead of Leeds' six-pointer with Luton after snapping up Bolton's Lubomir Michalik on a month's loan.
Wise swooped for Charlton's Radostin Kishishev last week and has now moved to tighten the side's leaky backline by landing Michalik.
Michalik, a Slovakia international, joined Bolton in January from FC Senec but has yet to feature under Sam Allardyce and has joined Leeds to garner experience.
The 23-year-old is likely to be thrown in at the deep end against The Hatters in what is a must-win game for Leeds.
Defeat to Luton and a win for QPR against Sheffield Wednesday could leave the beleaguered West Yorkshire side seven points adrift of safety.
