Default Leeds to sign Sebastien Carole

Leeds United are set to begin their summer transfer spree after lining up a deal for Brighton midfielder Sebastien Carole.

The young Frenchman is poised to become United's first close-season signing after catching the eye of Kevin Blackwell last season.

United have been in negotiations with Brighton and are still working to finalise an agreement with Carole, but the winger is expected to complete his transfer before the start of pre-season training on July 3

I'm very pleased about this! He is well quick, and has caused us all kinds of problems when we have played Brighton. Well played the two KBs

He's more than welcome. Potential to be a Championship superstar with the right training/coaching/guidance, etc.

Wouldn't say it's that bad but we are in need of a few signings still.

I know its early but the league table doesnt lie (Ok, maybe the odd exception in regards to where Barnsley and Plymouth are)

Leeds are in for a long hard slog this season, if you finish 12th then you have done well

12th? Have you been on the waccybaccy??

I'm praying for at least going up via the play-offs otherwise KB is out of a job.

Besides, it's not how you start the term, it's how you finish it. I don't start worrying until November.

Nah i dont touch the waccybaccy any more. Leeds wont get anywhere near the play offs this season and if you think you will, then you are mad.

Its a rebuilding season for you, same as it is with Wolves. No more parachute payments and lots of exits in the summer.

Could've sworn it were 2006 now not 2004.
