Default Preston v Leeds

Could quite easily be our 1st of 3 meetings within a week Apparantly Stone is going to play from the start which is great news, and we are going to shake a few things up in the first team wise, to try and not give anything away to Preston ahead of the play-off matches.

Preston themselves have been on a great run of form recently, so I'm expecting a tough match, with Whalley being one to look out for! They also know they need to beat us to get into 4th position and have the home leg last. So hopefully it'll be a decent match as well.

No doubt all their former players will get a bit of stick, and they seem to hate us now, thanks to Billy "wanker" Davies spouting nonsense about us all the time.

All ingredients for a fun match 8)

I saw a poll from Watford fans and 54% wanted to play Leeds. Any particular reason why?

We have a terrible record against Palace, and Preston have been in great form.

Plus we have to wipe out our major fuck-up in February against you.

Leeds V Watford

we have played 12 times, leeds winning 5 times, watford 4 times, and drawing 3.
Leeds' goal difference is actually -1. But you haven't beaten us in 6 games, with your last win coming in the League cup in 1992.

You also have to consider that Carlisle and Spring wont be allowed to play.

I wouldn't be so sure, that's yet to be decided, apparently the two clubs are negotiating a deal. If Carlisle misses out we'll have to play Jordan Stewart, which means you will win easily. If Spring doesn't play we have Al Bangura though, who is awesome.

What a crap match that was. I thought our reserves did alright in the first half, without creating anything, until they got their goal. Then it was all them really. But they didn't create much themselves.

It was good for Stone to get a full 90 minutes under his belt, and I'm actually pleased we have to play away in the second leg.

Oh, and Deepdale is such a shed. Not good at all.
