Leeds chairman Ken Bates is launching a £24million compensation claim after youngsters Tom Taiwo and Michael Woods turned down scholarship deals at Elland Road to sign academy contracts with Bates' former club Chelsea.

Totally disagree. Stop thinking like an agent and start thinking like a football club. Whilst I'm not of the opinion that we'd ever get that amount of money for them as the buying club I do believe we'll be deserving of a lot more than a pathetic £600k.

Besides, we're fast approaching the stage now where we're comfortable. Principles, blah, blah, blah....
