Which team hired the worst coach?
According to a poll done by Sportal.it these were the results of the teams that have hired new coaches this season:
Code:
MANAGER CLUB %
-----------------------------------
Ficcadenti Reggina 22
Del Neri Atalanta 17
Ranieri Juventus 15
Baldini Catania 11
Mandorlini Siena 9
Marino Udinese 8.5
Colantuono Palermo 6
Novellino Torino 4
Di Carlo Parma 3.5
Mazzari Sampdoria 2.5
It's interesting that Ranieri is so high, I wonder if he will be able to cope with the pressure especially if thats the main feeling in Italy as a whole.

I can understand why Ranieri is so high, I mean I wasn't too thrilled when it was announced he was our new head coach.
Novellino and Mazzari are probably the best two appointments from that list.

Second spot...hmph...Deserved. I hope he doesn't ruin the great progress of Atalanta next season.

I doubt he will.
One bad season at Roma doesn't change the fact that he's a decent coach, just look what he did for Chievo. Now, without him, they're in Serie B.

He was poor with Palermo as well. He's been bouncing around a lot lately. He will probably keep his job with Atalanta next season, as they will most likely he a mid table club and that's acceptable for them.

Palermo were already in decline when he was appointed though and he was given such little time, it's hard to judge him on that.
He'll be better off at a smaller club like Atalanta.

Roma, Porto, Palermo, Chievo, Atalanta...he's moved around too much. But for Atalanta's sake, i hope he stays and does well for them. They deserve their position in the table after being the bottom feeders.

I like Novellino though. He's great on the sidelines. Always enthused and very animated.
