Then he should come back to Italy and play for a team where he will play.

I've been trying to find video of him, but its almost impossible.

He would of been better if he went to a smaller club in the Premiership. Maybe Sven will loan him to a smaller team or a team that needs a striker, and will play him.

According to this he's got 4 goals in 15 league appearances (6 starts).

I've read that. I've been trying to find some video footage of some of those goals and nothing.

Sven will loan him out, they can't recoupe the money they paid, and I see potential. Even a loan back to an Italian club like Napoli would be great.

Or a smaller English team.

Toro near Bianchi deal Tuesday 22 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Former Reggina marksman Rolando Bianchi could complete a loan move to Torino this week.

The 24-year-old hasn’t found regular football at Manchester City since arriving in an £8.8m deal last summer and there have been regular reports linking him with a return to Serie A.

These rumours have intensified with the news that City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has granted Bianchi permission to leave the club.

Torino are languishing in 16th and are badly in need of an injection of goals. Coach Walter Novellino admitted earlier in the week that Granata President Urbano Cairo has his heart set on Bianchi.

“It’s obvious that we have a shortage of strikers and the President is working really hard to try and bring in a great striker like Rolando Bianchi,” the ex-Sampdoria tactician told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“David Di Michele missed pre-season, Nicola Ventola has been sidelined with a knee injury and I am aware that we haven’t had a full complement of attacking options.”

Bianchi has been back in Italy over the last few days with agent Tullio Tinti, but he is due to leave Bergamo Airport for Manchester today so that he can discuss his future at Eastlands.

Reports suggest that Toro could pay £200,000 to take Bianchi on loan until June and then must pay £5m if they want to secure his services on a permanent basis.

Lazio remain interested in the former Azzurrini star, but they are not expected to try and derail Torino’s bid as they look to other targets.

Thumbs up Bianchi to prove the English wrong?

signs for Lazio Wednesday 23 January, 2008

Manchester City striker Rolando Bianchi has signed for Lazio after a series of meetings in Rome this afternoon.

The 24-year-old had looked set to pen a deal with Torino, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito appears to have made a better offer.

The Biancocelesti are believed to have agreed a permanent transfer and will pay a fee of around £10m in three annual instalments.

The details of the agreement are yet to be announced, but it is suspected that Bianchi will undergo a medical today and be unveiled at some stage tomorrow afternoon.

Having signed for Manchester City from Reggina for £8.8m last summer, Bianchi never settled in the Premier League and leaves after 15 appearances – mostly as a substitute – and four goals.

"I want to thank all the City fans as they welcomed me with such great affection and immediately made me feel like one of them," Bianchi said in a brief statement.

"I will always take their passion with me and will never forget the great song - 'Rolando Bianchi, he comes from Italy, he plays for Man City'.

"I would also like to thank the President, his family and everyone at the club who made it able for me to experience the Premier League."

The former Atalanta youth product will now hope to revitalise his career in the Eternal City and restart his push for a space in Roberto Donadoni's Euro 2008 squad. signs for Lazio Wednesday 23 January, 2008

I have this strange feeling that Bianchi will save the Lazio season, and prove to be a threat from here on out.

yeah it looks like he'll provide some added punch we've been lacking this year. I really think he'll work well with Pandev and Rocchi if Rossi goes with a 4-3-3, but where does that leave all the midfielders? Mauri/Ledesma/Behrami/Mudy/Meghni. But our 2 major problems(keeper and defense) have to be addressed otherwise its like making a hole in water.

To be fair his record for Man City wasn't that bad, he just wasn't playing enough.

Hopefully Lazio will get the best out of him.

Bianchi celebrates Lazio move Thursday 24 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lazio new boy Rolando Bianchi has expressed his delight at completing a move to the Eternal City.

The former Reggina striking star left Manchester City yesterday on loan with the option of a permanent deal worth £10m to be paid in three instalments after Lazio stole him away from Torino at the 11th hour.

After proving one of the revelations of the 2006-07 season with 19 goals in Serie A, Bianchi didn’t pose the same threat in the Premier League and seems glad to be back in more natural surroundings.

“I had two other very interesting offers, but I chose Lazio for my future and to see how I could do at a big side,” Bianchi told the Biancocelesti’s club website.

“It was a tough decision that I thought over long and hard to make sure that I made the right move.

“I have enjoyed meeting the other Lazio players and here I will have the chance to play more often, which makes me happy.

“I have come into a united group and I know that this is the right place for the present and the future.”

Lazio will be hoping that Bianchi can arrest their slide towards the relegation dogfight and galvanise a stuttering front line.

The new man is expected to watch from the stands as the Aquile host Fiorentina in tonight’s Coppa Italia quarter-final first leg.

Pandev won't move now, but I think they'll sell him in the summer and reinvest to fill other holes.

Bianchi: I didn't cheat Toro Friday 25 January, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rolando Bianchi has denied the Granata’s claims he gave his word to Torino before changing his mind to sign for Lazio.

The former Manchester City striker had been linked with the northern club for several weeks, but in a surprise turnaround completed his transfer to the capital.

“It is not true that I gave my word of honour to Torino,” explained Bianchi. “I am sorry for what happened.

“Torino are an important side, but I made a decision for my future and that had to be for the next few years rather than just four months.”

Toro were furious at the choice, suggesting Bianchi was using their interest to push up the price-tag, as Lazio have taken him on loan with around £8m to be paid over three years.

“I did not give my word to anybody. I wanted to meet both Presidents to behave well with the clubs and I think I did that.

“I saw in Coach Delio Rossi and President Claudio Lotito a great desire to take me and that prompted me to choose Lazio.”

Bianchi shot to fame with a fine season at Reggina, but has struggled for space in the Premiership.

“This is the right moment to challenge myself in a big club so I ca grow as a player,” he continued.

“I chose Lazio so that I could play alongside players at the top level. Who wants to become important has to do that. I have different characteristics to Tommaso Rocchi and Goran Pandev, so we can comfortably forge partnerships.”

President Lotito was beaming with pride at the presentation of his biggest signing since taking control of the club.

“Slowly, slowly this little Lazio is growing. He is a great buy because he is a good lad, a champion who has not had as much success in the past because he wasn’t in a media-friendly side.”

It looks like he'll be heading back to Manchester. Lazio's right to buy him expires on June 15th and as of now they have no intention of making an offer. Wolfsburg appear to be interested though and they already have Zaccardo and Barzagli so you never know.

Good. He's a good striker, but never found a place at Lazio. Anything that makes Lazio worse off, is good news for me.

Bianchi’s Lazio letdown Friday 6 June, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Manchester City striker Rolando Bianchi has confessed his disappointment at failing to prove himself during last term’s loan spell at Lazio.

Bianchi left Reggina, where he rose to fame in 2005-06, for Manchester City last summer for a fee of £8.8m.

But after failing to settle in England, the former Atalanta youth product returned to Italy with Lazio, where he misfired after a disastrous debut that saw him sent off within five minutes of his entrance.

“The fact that Lazio chose not to sign me was the club’s choice to make,” the 25-year-old said on Nuova Spazio Radio.

“I waited until the end for the Biancocelesti because it was an extraordinary honour for me to wear their No 9 shirt.

“In January I chose Lazio for lots of reasons, but the main one was the chance to make the deal permanent in June.

“I wasn’t given any explanation for not being signed because I haven’t spoken to anyone after the season.

“I feel embarrassed and gutted because I hoped to be in the squad for next season.

‘I just hope that I can leave amicably and maybe have the chance to wear this shirt again in the future.

"Now, I will return to Manchester City where I have great desire to prove myself.”

I don't think Lazio gave him enough time to get adjusted again. I think he could of performed much better had he been with the club from the beginning of the season. Guess his 15 minutes of fame is officially over.

He needs to find a club that will play him regularly, it's as simple as that.

Otherwise he's just gonna disappear off the radar.
