Welcome to our newest forum in the Italian section. I had a plan to add one team per year, and I had chosen Fiorentina to be honest, but with a Lazio fan on the site, I had a change of heart.

So please make use of it, post in it, have good discussions in it.

Thank you, thank you, I know it'll be another tough season especially with the points deduction but hopefully we can show the same consistancy that helped us achieve 6th place last season. We've lost an important piece of our squad in Liverani along with Dabo and possibly close to losing Oddo. However the midfield seems stronger with the additions of Bonetto, argentine Ledesma, Mutarelli and hopefully we can get Jimenez from Ternana. Rocchi and newly acquired Makinwa will provide a sufficiant attack but beyond those two were in trouble. I hope for another strong season from Peruzzi.

(since when have lazio been the 'pride of Rome' when a)most romans support roma and b) roma have won more?)

not 100% sure about Jimenez yet. The last I heard they were close but not finalized. I haven't seen anything new, but then again I don't have the best sources.

Lazio's fanbase encompasses more of the region than Roma. I'm not saying that Roma don't have fans outside of Roma. I wouldn't say either one is the pride of Roma but Lazio is the first Roman team.

Roma has slightly more support, but I would say they are on par. Both very passionate about their clubs.

Not all Lazio fans are fascist Rosa. Most if not all Italian clubs have an element of fascist ultras.

Probably the exception would be Livorno and Udinese. You should support those clubs if that is your main concern.

I find them more bearable cause they dont bitch nearly as much as Roma fans do.

It's the general generalisation and i wasn't being serious as per usual, espeically since many fansof my own team have become incresingly more facist. (again get yourself a copy of John Foot's Calcio book and all is explained )

Incidently I do have a soft spot for Livorno because of their politics.

Also, don't all tifosi bitch and whine? (yesss)

I know I'm one of the few but I'm actually glad to see Paolo Dicanio go after his antics last season. He just brought negative attention to our team. And just like Jager said most clubs have fascist ultras doesn't mean that the organization promotes it.
