dunno I doubt they're too upset now that they got Rooney, Smith and with Rossi now in the youth system, they have 3 top young strikers. Also, Kenny Cooper who is on loan to Academia.

Default MLS -ED Johnson thread

• FC Dallas began an off-season training camp Monday that will continue through Nov. 17. Following Thanksgiving, Clarke hopes to send his younger players to train in Europe. He said Manchester United is a possibility for forward Eddie Johnson, and midfielder Ramon Nunez could go to Glasgow Celtic.

If it happens it should be a great experiance for them.

my guess he will start in columbus against jamaica, since it is a meaningless game and he has been on a tear for the nats. If he can train with United, that would be great.

if he does train with United and does half way decent like he should half of europe will be after him IMO. I'm sure if there wasn't the national cap rule for England he would already be over there playing with a Everton, Bolton, Fulham type club. Just a gut feeling but I bet he ends up at Ajax, sooner rather than later.

Yep, he is a very different Eddie Johnson. It would be a nice strike partnership to have though, just to piss off the commentry teams Just a shame they look so different. One black, one white.

oh yeah. This EJ is black, 20 years old and very quick and very fast. I'm a big fan of this kid but has a chance to be great and I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up with Ajax real soon to fill in void left by the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
