Medical Bulletin: 11th December
Dr Riccardo Agricola gave us the latest from the treatment room this afternoon, starting with Claudio Marchisio. The midfielder underwent a check-up this morning which confirmed fatigue to the adductor muscle in his left thigh. The player carried out individual work and should be able to resume training with the rest of the squad on Wednesday. Meanwhile, David Trezeguet and Cristiano Zanetti, who carried out regular training with the squad today, have made full recoveries. §
Legrottaglie, Tudor and Marchionni, who continues individual training work, all remain unavailable, along with Giannichedda. The latter underwent scans this morning following the injury sustained to his left calf muscle 20 days ago. Results show that the muscle tear has healed well, although the presence of scar-tissue will delay his return, expected to be a further 20-25 days from now.

Well it's good to hear that Zanetti and Trezeguet are back.
It's a shame about Giannichedda though.

Medical Bulletin: 14th December
This week has seen the respective recoveries of David Trezeguet and Cristiano Zanetti, both available for the game with Cesena.
Marchionni, Tudor, Legrottaglie and Giannichedda remain unavailable
Marchionni: continues to feel pain in the lateral region of his left knee when carrying out certain movements. He still requires medical treatment and physiotherapy and will not be available next week either.
Tudor: the player’s right ankle, which underwent surgery this summer, continues to show signs of inflammation. He will require a few more weeks before he is able to resume training with the squad.
Legrottaglie: has begun physiotherapy on his left shoulder, operated on following the dislocation suffered against Napoli. His recovery continues with clear signs of progress and the player will soon begin to carry out his first individual training sessions.
Giannichedda: having suffered an injury to the external gemellus muscle in his left leg around twenty days ago, the player has begun running exercises on the training ground and is making positive steps towards recovery.

Medical Bulletin: 20th December
The day after the trip to Bologna, and two days before the team’s final game of 2006, at home to Arezzo, the club’s medical team - led by Dr Riccardo Agricola - have released the following medical bulletin.
Camoranesi: withdrew from the field at the end of the first half at the Dall’Ara with a strained flexor muscle in his right leg. The extent of the injury will be evaluated tomorrow when he undergoes scans. He will presumably be rested for a few days and is unlikely to feature in Friday’s game.
Belardi: underwent surgery this morning on a lesion in his left knee. The operation was carried out at the Fornaca Clinic by Professor Quaglia. The goalkeeper should be available again in a month’s time.
Tudor: to overcome the problems with his right ankle once and for all (operated on back in August), the player has been sent, by his own agreement, to a centre specialising in foot treatment. The Croatian has in fact been in Belgium for the last few days, receiving physiotherapy. He is scheduled to return Turin at the end of the first week of January.
Marchionni: has suffered serious after-effects from the bruising to his right knee suffered during the game with Brescia on November 1st. It has therefore been decided that he resume work in the gym. He should return to the training ground straight after the winter break.
Legrottaglie: his shoulder has not suffered any complications since the operation and he has now resumed running work on the training round. He will still need another month before he is able to train with the rest of the group.

Medical Bulletin: 21st December
Mauro Camoranesi underwent scans today which revealed a 1st degree sprain of the bicep in his right thigh. The player should be available again in another 2-3 weeks’ time.
Robert Kovac has not been called-up for the game with Arezzo due to a minor problem with his right ankle.

Camoranesi, along with Nedved, wont be available for a few games. They have contributed alot to our attack. I can see us dropping points now tbh.

Marchionni and Guzman on the wings then?
I wouldn't mind seeing Chiellini on the left to be honest.

Just play with 3 CM, with 2 supporting striker type players.
.....................Trezeguet
.........Del Piero..........Palladino
...Marchisio.....Zanetti........Paro
Palladino can play in Nedved's position also.
Or play a 4-3-3 with Del Piero, Trezeguet, Bojinov upfront.

That's definitely an option but it seems a shame to leave Marchionni out completely.
I reckon Deschamps will go with a 4-3-3 though seen as all out strikers are now fit.

Medical bulletin: 3rd January
Kicking-off 2007, Dr Riccardo Agricola’s medical team have released the first medical bulletin of the new year.
Camoranesi. Out with the strained flexor muscle in his left thigh he picked up in the game against Bologna on the 19th December. He underwent scans this morning which provided satisfying results. From today he will begin progressively physical training sessions and will be able to join up with the rest of the squad as of next Monday.
Giannichedda. Recovering from the injury to his left calf muscle he picked up in training 40 days ago. The midfielder also underwent scans this morning. The results are favourable and this week he will carry out individual training sessions; at the end of the week it will be decided whether he is able to join up with the rest of the group.
Legrottaglie. Almost two months on from his shoulder operation, he is a matter of days from recovery. The original prognosis is still valid and the defender will return to training in a further 25 days’ time.
Tudor. Continues with treatment on his right foot, injured and operated on last August. The Croatian defender is still at a specialist centre in Belgium and is expected to return to Torino in around 10 days.
Marchionni. Began individual work yesterday on the training ground and in a few days’ time, he will be able to train with his team mates.
Belardi. Is already back after the operation on the medial meniscus in his left knee he underwent on the 20th December. The goalkeeper is working in the gym and is expected to return in 20 days.

The condition of Palladino, Chiellini and Boumsong will be assessed on Monday. They were all injured in the Trofeo Berlusconi.
