Moggi: No Juve Revolution
Transfer guru Luciano Moggi has resisted calls for a revolution within the Juventus camp and insists the Scudetto is not out of reach.
“I recall after defeats to Parma and Lecce the press called for a complete clear-out of our squad,” insisted the Director General, “but both times we went on to win the title. Perhaps it’s even a lucky omen to be hammered every once in a while.”
The 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Roma has left the reigning Champions eight points adrift of leaders Milan.
“We are only three points behind Roma and to be perfectly honest they deserved to win on the night,” added Moggi. “But the table is only tallied up in May.”
Above all, they are dealing with the worst defensive record for a Juve side in four decades and some believe the decision not to sign reinforcements in January was a mistake.
“It isn’t much fun to concede 25 goals in 20 games,” he admits, “but with a few injuries and other players off form right now there have been some problems. I am certain that we will find a solution before Thursday.”
The Bianconeri’s next challenge is the Coppa Italia semi-final, where they must recover from a 2-2 home draw with Inter.
However, many newspapers are already looking to the future with reports of Parma duo Matteo Ferrari and Daniele Bonera as well as Ajax star Hatem Trabelsi targeted for the summer.
“We are keeping our eye on a few players,” conceded the dg, “but we won’t go crazy on the transfer market. Juve are a serious club that won’t end up like certain others I could mention.”
Moggi also commented on Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti’s appeal to rest his players for the upcoming international friendly.
“The Nazionale is something that belongs to everybody and therefore we should all play our part.”

Hes a smart guy Moggi!!
and to win this scudetto we need del and trez to find form then Nedved to pulls off his magic and Thuram, Zambrotta, Tudor and co. to pull there head in and start defending like a top european club back-line!!
Buffon also can help by doing those super saves!!
Inter next i think we can overcome them and cruz to the final and hopfuly beat Lazio!! I dont want Milan!
What do u recon
Juve or Inter
Milan or Lazio
And who will win the Finals

INTER need this bad....hmm, I say Lazio vs INTER, but its still to close to call. Milan and Juve could mount comebacks. To hard to call. 8)

Milan confuses me at times, at the begining of the season, I wrote them off....they started off slowly, had some problems in the CL, and I looked smart. All of sudden, Pippo gets hurt, Sheva goes wild, and they seem to win at will. Milan has a great defence, maybe the best in Europe. They also have a deep bench, with many usefull players, they can play in different type of situations.
I feel different about them now, I still think they lack one more striker, but they are still the favourites to win Serie A, and to win the CL.

Yeah at the start of the season i was laughing it up saying Juves gonna win their 3 straight crown Milan hasnt changed much and roma shouldnt put a serious challange and a made a bet with this english guy i know that Juve would win for 200 Euro!!!
Looks like im the loser!
But he also said that Newcastle would finish above chelsea!!!
lol thats funny but he lacked confidence and that was only 50 E!!!!!
Even b4 a ball was kicked ppl were talking up Romas chances and after out playing us in september the dark horses emerged as the men most likely to halt juventus' relentless march to a seemingly inevitable third straight Serie A crown!!
And then i tipped Roma to win but stupid losses and draws have been their weakning and their falling

Its still early, Roma still has a game with Milan, and Milan still has to play INTER, Juve and Lazio, so nothing is won. Milan won't win all their games.
Milan is due for a lose against INTER, it has to happen sooner or later.
BTW, check your pesonal messages....I sent you one...
