It proves alot actually, to people who are impartial enough to realize. Since your club has a vested interest in the truth remaining distorted (since Milan actually did bribe refs. Meani told the linesmen what to do, something Moggi never did), u will continue to endorse non-sense.

Also, the evidence u speak of actually denies your theory about Juve's guilt, it doesn't support it.

Circumstantial? Telecom Italia giving their illegal wiretaps to the Gazzetta Delle Sport, of all media, says otherwise. They could have sold them to a host of interested papers for a shitload of money, but Telecom Italia chose to give them away freely to the paper who's CEO is also their VP, and most importatly, Inter's VP.

Congrats on your recent ruling btw. A historic legal precedent has been set.

Also, its worth pointing out I despise the current Juve management, and alot of the calciogate mess falls on them.

Since the scandal, Juve is now sponsored by the Gazzetta. Thats their way of making sure they dont get fucked over again. Although it could be a ploy on the Gazzetta's part to revitalize their sales. That paper, along with all media associated Inter and Telecom Italia, was boycotted by alot of Juventini in Italy, and it worked. Their sales took a major hit. If u havent noticed, they have been much more positive towards Juventus this season, and thats y.

Also, the RCS media group that Inter's VP heads, John Elkann and Franzo Grande Stevens (former Juve president who resigned during the scandal) joined as directors.

Thats their way of protecting Juve from future attack, by making sure our business interest collide.

I'm sorry, but this conspiracy theory that you got from some anti-inter site or forum is somewhat laughable.

Do you know how many people telecom Italia employs? It is larger than Bell Canada, to give you idea.

All cicumstantial, you can't be "guilty by assoiciation". This other non sense that Moggi wasn't the "dirtiest", is also stupid.

Other teams like Inter "cheated", to lose to you all the time???? That is the stupidest thing I ever heard.

Or not too mention that Moggi himself has never actually fought any of this, other than the odd jabb or statement in the media?

Or how about the board members that actually agreed with the verdict, and wanted to bargain with the officials?

We can go on and on and on and on.......I have read differently, its really a shame, since depending on what paper you read or website you visit, you can find information to counter or prove your case.

So the truth has to be in the middle as they say.......Moggi wasn't a evil cheating #####, he was just a cheating #####.

Jager at the end of the day we were relegated for match fixing so could you please show me the evidence that proves we fixed matches. Can you?

No, you can't. There's no evidence that proves that.

The bottom line is that many groups of people and organisations illegally worked together to guarantee the downfall of Juventus no matter what. The whole saga just stinks of bullshit, even as an Inter fan you can't deny that.

From the 'evidence' and the trial all the way to the punishments the whole thing was a farce in my opinion.

Match fixing my arse.

1) Trezeguet -15
2) Mutu - 14
3) Ibrahimovic - 14
4) Borriello - 12
5) Del Piero - 10

The current top goal scorers. 4 of the 5 were Juve players during the season in question. 2 of them (Mutu/Del Piero) weren't starters.

Not to mention were 1 pt off 2nd place, despite having a squad light years away in quality to the 1 we had pre-scandal. Furthermore, the 1st time in months we had a fully fit lineup started 2 weeks ago, and we still managed to get this far. It's a testament to the club's strength, and further show's what a pile of shit the scandal was.

Ignore all the above though. Juventus clearly needed the ref's help to win matches, despite the judge who sentenced Juve to serie b saying there was no evidence of match fixing, and the ref's in question being found innocent.

Comincialitalia.net - Articolo: La crisi Fiat e la consulenza di Guido Rossi, chi lo dice alla Juve?

Scandalous. Guess who FIAT have just hired as a consultant? Guido Rossi, the man who played a key role in our relegation. The former Inter director who went out of his way to ensure our relegation is now being paid by our parent company FIAT. I already knew our management was in bed with the enemy, but this just proves FIAT dont care about Juventus.

channel4.com - Football Italia

Moggi's appeal was rejected and his ban upheld.

What that article fails to mention is his ban was upheld despite no new information being presented (since the old info proves there was no Moggi system), and despite this exact same court stating there were no fixed matches and the referee selections were fine.

In true calciogate fashion, the reasoning they gave was fucking bullshit and makes no sense. According to the TAR regional court, Moggi psychologically conditioned ref's to favour Juventus, despite this same court clearing the names of the ref's involved, saying no matches were fixed, and stats which show Juve were not favoured. I have no idea how they could prove refs were "psychologically conditioned".

Why have all the above inconsistencies happened? Take a look at this:

Specchio Economico
:::::::::::::::FEDERAZIONE::ITALIANA::GIUOCO::CALC IO::::::::::::::::::

Pasqual de Lise is the president of the TAR Regional Court and also the President of the FIGC's Commission of Sports Justice. Moggi was appealing the injustices of the FIGC to the same fucking person! A major conflict of interest that any half decent court in the world would never accept.

Gianluca Paparesta and Salvatore Racalbuto have seen their suspensions revoked, so the former can return to refereeing immediately.

The Disciplinary Commission had suspended the two officials last year after they were named in the on-going Calciopoli investigation.

They were excluded from the legal process in March and so an appeal was started against the bans.

This evening the Federal Court accepted the motion and wiped out the bans, which had stopped Paparesta until May 15, 2008 and Racalbuto until April 15.

“I was confident that in time my innocence would be proved,” said Paparesta, who could effectively resume refereeing immediately.

“Unfortunately it took a while, but the important thing was to prove my situation.”
channel4.com - Football Italia

This means the entire scandal resulted in the suspension of 1 ref (De Sanctis) for a game that had nothing to do with Moggi or Juventus (Lecce/Parma).

Juve cheated their way to the top without fixing any matches and without the help of any refs (since they have all been cleared). No wonder they needed an Inter director to handle the trial. They had nothing, and had to create a new sporting rule to relegate Juve (only to eliminate it right after).

Lazio Coach Delio Rossi received a three-match ban for “suggesting” the club contact Lecce ahead of their game in April 2006.

The conversation between Rossi and President Claudio Lotito was among the wiretapped phone calls used in the Calciopoli trial.

The prosecution demanded far stronger sanctions, accusing Rossi of demanding “pressure on the Lecce directors to get a submissive approach from the team in the upcoming Serie A game.”

However, the Disciplinary Commission decided the conversation “did not qualify as match-fixing, not even as an attempt.”

Rossi has been handed a three-match touchline ban and Lazio fined 10,000 Euros.
channel4.com - Football Italia

Keep in mind what Moggi was charged with and the punishment that followed and you will understand y this news is infuriating.

According to the verdict's, Moggi gave Juventus an advantage by conspiring with ref's and league officials (who were found innocent), for games they stated were legit, and based on phone taps (from u know who) where nothing incriminating was said. He got banned from football, and we all know what happened to Juve.

Rossi applies pressure on Lecce to throw a game, and its not considered match fixing. Yet Moggi is charged with sporting fraud despite none being found and despite the verdicts clearly stating there was none. Ridiculous.

This scandal never ceases to amaze me.

But without this 'garbage' Jager you wouldn't be in the position you are now.

Inter fans seem to forget that.
