An interisti and a milanisti chearing for Del Pierro, that's something you don't see every day , although I admit it's a great goal, but there's a lot of luck in it.

Just because I love INTER, doesn't mean I don't admire other great players from other teams. Especially when they score nice goals...luck or not. Remember, you have to be good to be lucky and lucky to be good.
Somebody passed the link to me, who is a Juve fan and I posted it here. Having said that, if the goal was scored against INTER, then it might of not found its way here.....

Del Piero to leave?
There's so much talk about this topic, it deserves it's own thread. Do you believe he will depart from Turin? To another Serie A club? To a Premiership club? Not at all?
Personally, I think he'll stay..his leaving will only hurt the club and fans on a level of pride and nostalgia if you will - Del Piero as I find myself saying quite often, is an iconic figure of Juventus, an emblem of this club.
I can't see him joining anyone else..the only positive, apart from bringing in some younger legs up front would be the appointment of a new no.10 - who would you nominate for that privilege?

Quote:
Chelsea begin Del Piero chase
Newspaper reports in England claim that Chelsea have made contact with Juventus about a possible move for striker Alessandro Del Piero. The Juve captain has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League and is known to be considering a move should the Bianconeri sign Roma’s Antonio Cassano. The No 10 has already stated he would only be interested in a move to London and now the Stamford Bridge side look set to be the player’s destination should he actually request a transfer.

Oh yeah, and along with my earlier 'pondering' or question concerning the no.10 shirt - what about captaincy? One would feel Thuram would automatically take the armband as vice-captain, but I like the look of Cannavaro myself. Discuss?

The real question is...Will he accept a limited role at Juve?
Personally, I would like to see him with a smaller club, and pull a Baggio.
It would be great to see him help a Fiorentina, Palermo or Reggina. That's just me.
The big club always take, its nice to see a big player give back. If you catch my drift.

most things in the Anglo Angle aren't true.
As for possible cappy replacements, Cannavaro has only been at juve for 10 minutes so Thuram would be a better choice.

Guess so..I really like Canna though, he's another cornerstone of Juventus now I believe - joining Buffon, Zambro, Emerson (I think) and Nedved. I think Ibra will add to these ranks in coming seasons..give him a while eh!
