I see Riquelme as the backup plan.
Personally I just think Inter wanted a cheap buy last summer, I can't see him going that cheaply once we're back in Serie A though.

This Febuary will decide the future of the players in doubt. If any1 were to leave though, my pick would be Camo.

True, but he would be a loss to the team.

For sure. He is a great asset. I just cant forget his comments this summer, or all the stupid cards he got last season. That said, he isn't commiting as many dumb fouls this yr. I still think he will leave if a good offer comes around. With Marchionni on the bench, I dont think the club would reject offers for him.

I know Marchionni is class, he's just a different type of player. Camoranesi is a better passer and a better crosser whereas Marchionni has the pace and agility that allows him to really run at players. It's a contrast in styles so I'd really prefer it if both stayed.

I disagree about better passer. Better crosser I could agree with though. However how many goals this season have been scored of Camo crosses? Not to many. Marchionni will only get better. He is at the sweet spot in his career, where he is young enough to have many years ahead of him, but old enough to have experience under his belt.

I just think that without Camoranesi we lose a bit of creativity, that bit of genius to unlock a defence. Marchionni has played the exact role that I thought he would this season, an impact player off the bench. At the moment I think that suits the players and the team as a whole.

I agree. I definetly want Camo to stay. It will make the team that much more competitve.

Camoranesi Casts Doubts Over Juve Future
The world cup winning midfielder is still unsure whether to remain with the Bianconeri next season.
It might take more than just reinforcing the Juventus squad to convince Mauro German Camoranesi to remain in Turin according to the same player during an interview with local Italian newspaper 'Corriere della sera'.
"My future here is in discussion. I don't look at the competitive squad; if I will find myself well, I will remain. If I reach a valid agreement I will stay."
Camoranesi has a dream in the drawer for his future once he decides to hang up his boots.
"I hope that I can coach one day, at least I will try. If it will not happen, if I will not be good enough, I will find myself another job."
In the meantime, Camoranesi and Juventus are leading the Serie B standings with an eye on the next transfer market to build a very competitive side for Serie A.

Camoranesi has been offered a new contract through to 2010 worth £1.7m a year. Nothing has been agreed yet though as he's still concerned about how long it'll take for Juventus to be competing in Europe again.

Ciao Camoranesi...Have fun in France or Spain...Marchionni will fill your role quite well.
