Klose would be a great addition. For under 15M would be great business.

Also Diarra from Madrid, according to Tuttosport.

I'd be happy with Diarra but I'm not sure whether Madrid would let him go.

Diarra is similar to Emerson, except more athletic, and he pushes up more. It would be awesome if Juve could sign him.
One things for sure, adding Diarra's name to the mix gives us a better sense of what Juve are looking for. Mavuba, Sissoko, Gilberto, and now Diarra. They want some steel in the mid. Players who move all around the middle, but are defensive players at heart.
The only stumbling block is price, as Madrid payed over 20 millions pounds for him.

Yeah, I agree that he's the kind of player we need. In essense we need a Vieira type player, someone with a bit of muscle.

Mavuba is probably the most realistic target of all the rumours. However there seems to be more competition for him, which will drive up his price.
DD and Platini really think highly of him.

Apparently Diarra would be available for 10 million pounds. Sounds to small a fee to be true.

Nah Madrid would want their money back. Probably closer to 20M.

Still, I can't understand why they're willing to sell him.
I know he's in a bad run of form at the moment but he's a player with great potential.

He wants to leave, the fans don't like him and he has problems with Capello.
Basically, he has no conditions to stay at Madrid

Their loss (ala Makelele).
I would welcome him, even though we have players that can do his job.

Juve's £71m plan for serie a
That's a very long wish list.....they will be lucky to net 3 of all th names mentioned. Cassano's name isn't mentioned???
Quote:
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Juventus have planned a 45 million investment with which they will try to sign Gilberto Silva, Barzagli, Gerrard and Luisao.
Manager Deschamps is said to be willing to have a completely new back line next season. Other names targeted by the club include Diarra, Rio Mavuba and Almiron.
Up front, among the players considered are Klose and Pizarro but also Eto’o, as well as Robinho and Ribery.
Toni is looking hard to get, so the club may opt for Bianchi, Iaquinta or Gilardino instead.

This wednesday the board meets, and its rumoured the investors will dig into their wallets for around 57 million pounds, around 27 of which will be for the stadium (if Italy get the euro's, where the government will pay the other 100 mil). The rest, 30 million pounds, is for transfers. Add another 5-10 mil to that in players sales, not including if Trez or Camo or sold, which probably adds another 15 mil.
Those names mentioned are just what the paper speculate. Gerrard wont happen.
