Juve charge for Chevanton
Juventus have entered the race to sign Lecce hitman Javier Ernesto Chevanton in a partial swap deal with Fabrizio Miccoli.
The Uruguayan international has been a sensation this season with 19 goals helping to ensure their Serie A status.
He also proved instrumental in Lecce’s shock 4-3 victory at the Stadio Delle Alpi in Week 31, so made an immediate impact on the Bianconeri directors.
Although Milan, Lazio and Parma had been heavily linked with the striker, speculation surrounding his future has been quiet of late.
This gives Juventus the perfect opportunity to dive in and seal a quick move for less than £10m.
Cheap....I like Chevanton, and I think 10m is cheap.

Conte leaving Juve
Juventus FC's veteran midfield player Antonio Conte has announced that he will leave the club after 13 seasons. The 34-year-old former Italian international, who won 14 trophies with the Bianconeri, has decided against renewing his contract.
With honours
Conte joined Juventus in 1991 from hometown club US Lecce. He went on to claim Serie A titles in 1994/95, 1996/97, 1997/98, 2001/02 and 2002/03. He also won the UEFA Champions League in 1995/96 and the UEFA Cup in 1992/93, in addition to lifting the UEFA Super Cup, Italian Cup and European/South American Cup.
Uncertain future
"I still haven't decided if I will stop playing or carry on with another club," he said. "I'm a bit confused about my future, however this year or next year I will start coaching. I leave Juve after winning many trophies but now is the time for them to start again with new players."
International career
Conte made his international debut in 1994 against Finland and appeared twice at the FIFA World Cup later that year. He missed out on selection for both EURO '96™ and the 1998 World Cup but played at UEFA EURO 2000™, scoring Italy's first goal in the Low Countries.
Wow with this guys succes i woulden't mind him in a coaching possition i think he would be a good coach and do a good job of it to.

Yeah he will probably become a coach of one of the lower teams in Seire A or maybe even go and coach one of the Seire B teams.

Nedved snubs Chelsea move
Pavel Nedved will remain with Juventus after reportedly rejecting a new offer from Chelsea.
Speculation suggests that the Premiership outfit had targeted the midfielder but he wants to stay with the Old Lady.
The Stamford Bridge side, who yesterday appointed Porto?s Jose Mourinho as their new boss, have been after Nedved for some time.
Juventus were allegedly ready to let him go for the right price but the player has no interest in a switch.
"I still have two years left on my contract and I want to win the Champions? League with Juventus," Nedved said last month.
"I still can?t digest the fact that I missed out on the Final in 2003 against Milan because I was suspended."
There was also talk that Nedved could be offered to Inter as part of the deal to sign Christian Vieri.
Yet it seems almost certain that the former Lazio fan favourite will be a part of Fabio Capello?s squad next season.
