Quite a few Italian papers are stating that Bettega and Secco are at a hotel in Milan, meeting with a bunch of agents to try and finalize some deals. Huntelaar, Malouda, Buffon, Zebina are some of the players mentioned.

Is that the CB or the striker?

It looks like we're close to signing Mesto from Reggina. Marchionni could join Fiorentina as a result.

Whats the pt of this transfer? Marchionni and Mesto swapping teams. Y not just keep Marchionni and not go through any of the trouble?

Maybe Marchionni doesn't want to be backup to Camoranesi (assuming he stays)?

You're right. I dont see any reason y Juve would want to shuffle things around, other than Camo or Marchionni wanting to leave (Camo being most likely imo).

Udinese striker Iaquinta set for Juventus medical
tribalfooball.com - May 21, 2007
Udinese striker Vincenzo Iaquinta is expected in Turin this week.
Tuttosport says Iaquinta will have a medical at Juventus in the coming days, though the two clubs are still some way from agreeing terms over a fee for the Italy international.
Juve are willing to offer £6 million and Matteo Paro for Iaquinta. However, Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo is insisting Claudio Marchisio and Michele Paolucci are included in the bid.

How about this for a transfer rumour; The Club!
I read about it after our win on the weekend, but attributed it to more non sense designed to disrupt our celebrations. However, it seems be picking up steem amongst the press. Its not the typical type of rumour the media would make up. The rumour sprung from comments a handful of ppl involved in the football world, but not Juventus, made. Apparently Enesto Bertarelli, a Swiss Biotech billionaire, is the man to buy Juve.
Ernesto Bertarelli - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gigli, our president, has been a liquidator for FIAT in the past. If Juve were to be sold, he is the perfect man, collecting every last penny from sales (Gigi?) b4 they pull out. However, lets not forget they recently just put 105 million euro's of investment, majority of which was their money. Not to mention Lapo Elkann has a tatoo of Juventus on his forearm. I like to think the Elkann's wont disgrace their grandfather by selling Juve, but we have no idea what type of ppl they are. If the Elkanns have got bored with Juve, y not just give management responsibilities over to other Agnelli family members, such as Andrea Agnelli, who take an interest in the club.

Investment is always good but most of these billionaires have other motives to the fans.
tbh do we need the investment. We've just received huge money from said parties and we were self-dependent before we got relegated.

Exactly. We dont need a rich owner. Plus I really doubt the Elkanns would be that stupid. Juventus has always been prized by their family.
