Mavuba has been spotted in Turin, it looks like we're close to a deal. £7m is apparently the asking price.

Diego leaving Bremen is very very unlikely and even if Juve or any other club make a move for him, you'll have to face Bayern's fearless competition.
Watch how great Diego was last night:

If your referring to that article a few post up, it was on Diego, a goalie from Brasil, not Deigo the Bremen player lol.

I hope we don't sign him. He's good but he's getting on and I'm sure he won't be that cheap.

He isn't our best option, imo. I would rather we go for some1 who is more defensive, like Gilberto. He is 1 month older than Frings, and he has been linked heavily as well. Looks as if we are going for some experience in the mid.

Tiago has been offered a new contract by Lyon, but the midfielder concedes he is tempted by a move to a bigger club.
The newly-crowned French champions are keen to hang on to their best players and are prepared to reward Tiago with an extension.
But the Portugal international admits he has visions of playing for the likes of Italian giants Juventus and Milan.
"It is true that they showed me they wanted to extend my contract before Christmas," Tiago told O Jogo.
"My agent manages all that. I am relaxed, not pressured.
"But it is true that I have other ambitions. I can see myself playing for a bigger club.
"Juventus Turin or AC Milan could be options, but the chairman (Jean-Michel Aulas) won't facilitate things."
Meanwhile, Tiago has confirmed that Lyon are keen to sign Porto duo Pepe and Ricardo Quaresma.
He added: "Lyon want to sign Pepe and Quaresma from Porto.
"But I don't know if Lyon will make efforts to recruit them or if the players will be interested in moving here."

Not really, I thought Chelsea made a mistake in letting him go.
I've always liked watching him play.

I don't like his style of play. Maybe because he is a former Benfica player
Seriously though, he isn't a hard tackler nor is he the best of tacklers (something you need in Serie A) and he goes forward a lot and leaves some holes in the midfield.
Plus, he shoots too much and even though he scores some awsome goals, he rarely hits the target

Boruc, from Celtic, in case Gigi leaves, is being linked.
I saw him vs Utd and Milan, and he looked pretty good.

Boruc is very good. Not in Gigi's calibre (but who is).
