It's been a bit of a disaster for Madrid this season and Capello is going to take most of the blame unfortunately.
He just needs a settled side, give him time.

Ya, Madrid have problems...but Capello is sitting in a nice spot with his contract though!

Madrid just drew 3-3 with Barca.
Capello was so close to a win as well.

Ronaldo bashes Capello again......
Quote:
Milan striker Ronaldo has hit out once again at his former boss Fabio Capello, saying the Real Madrid coach does not deserve to win the title this season.
The Brazilian striker made a return to Italy when was offloaded by Capello during the January transfer window and ever since, the goal ace has made no secret of his dislike for the Italian tactician.
Ronaldo went as far as calling Capello a "devil" and likening his stay in Madrid to "hell" after he lost his place in the starting XI to Ruud van Nistelrooy and was dropped to the bench for the first half of the season.
The latest insult came when Ronaldo was asked by Spanish television station Cuatro whether he though Real would win the league this year, Ronaldo said: "I hope Real win the league for the sake of my old team-mates, but not for the coach who doesn't deserve it."
Real currently occupy 3rd pace in La Liga, just five points behind leaders Barcelona and Sevilla.

Capello won't be at Madrid next season......no way!

Real Madrid end Capello reign
Saturday 24 March, 2007
Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon has conceded Fabio Capello will not stay on next season. “It was a mistake.”
The former Roma and Juventus Coach was picked up in the summer following the Calciopoli scandal, but has been unpopular with players and fans alike.
Ronaldo and Antonio Cassano have been his most vocal critics within the squad, while results – including their second round Champions League exit to Bayern Munich – have led to calls for Capello’s resignation.
Although he has refused to make way and there are reports a clause in his contract would give him a golden handshake deal should he be fired within the first year, it is now all but official that it is his last season at the Bernabeu.
“It was an unfortunate choice,” Calderon told newspaper ‘Reforma’. “The fans are not very happy due to some of our disappointing performances.
“Capello had to deal with a club that had won nothing for three years and that was ever going to be easy, but we were unlucky.”
Always looking ahead, the Real Madrid President has already namechecked some of the candidates contacted to replace Don Fabio.
“We spoke to Schuster right from when I was only running for the Presidency, but we are keeping an eye on Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho.”
Milan’s Carlo Ancelotti has also been suggested by the media as a possible successor to Capello.

Nah, I can't see any English clubs wanting to take a gamble after his performance with Madrid this season.
It's back to Italy or nothing in my opinion.

Yeah, I don't know whether they'd take him back either.
It's not looking good for him.

Maybe he should take up fishing and keep Lippi company ...they can discuss Cassano....
Or maybe if Donadoni fails, take over the NT...but he said the NT doesn't appeal to him.

It's being reported that Capello is considering retirement at the end of the season.

Don't believe it...unless i see a direct quote from Capello. CH4 is probably just reporting what the media are saying...he will find another job next season...how old is Capello now?
