^Yeah, I do agree with that to be fair.
It was just a general question though. Cordoba is known to be a bit of a liability so with Matrix out someone like Rivas would be ideal in my opinion.

We never play well against Udinese in the first place, so I wasn't really optimistic going in to this one.
Playing like shit doesn't help either. Slow, and predictable. The midfield had no ideas, except give the ball to Ibrahimovic.
Stankovic, aside from his goal that no one could miss, was pretty crap.
Figo was pretty decent, but I'm not expecting too much.
Dacourt was solid. And Javier Zanetti is still king.
The Defense pretty much ahead of all departments. I thought both Samuel, and Cordoba played good games, especially Samuel. The same can be said about Maxwell and Maicon.
Mancini is an idiot, I don't know why he'd rather give suazo his debut than put a midfielder in with a man down.
Why he starts Cruz, i don't know. The guy is the best second half player in the world.
Things will come around though, we'll settle down, win ganes, and maybe get Deco before disaster happens.

hehe, Stanko did score, and I've seen plenty of players miss those type of chances.
However again, he is not the sole reason for lack of creativity. The fullbacks have yet to join the play properly. If not for the expulsion of Cesar, we might of seen a different Inter. However they are still on vacation in some respects.
As for Deco, I just can't see that happening now. I think the club is done here. They have to work through this. Its the only way.
We never play well against Udinese.
Two games now, we play like garbage in both, yet we lose to Roma by PK, and blow a win in injury time.
To me, for some reason, is a good sign, if any.
The other thing, Ibra showed some life today. I still maintain he is our key, and our best player. We will either rise or fall with him, not without him.

Not undeserved that Udinese got their goal in the end, but very boring for Internazionale that it should came in the 90th minute of the match.
Inter played very bad in the second half, but I reckon they not are runned in yet. However, 1-1 against Udi in the first match of season isn't end of the world..and IMO Inter have the best squad and favourites to win the Scudetto also this season...but it will NOT be so easy as it were last time. Roma, Milan and perhaps Juve are all challangers.

The Toldo/Julio Cesar situation is an interesting one. Were one to somehow be able to combine their two strengths, you would have a real challenger to Gigi Buffon. And where you to combine their weaknesses, Inter would be out of Europe. Julio Cesar has become the better shot stopper by some margin, taking advantage of his relative youth and athleticism (he saved Inter two or three times before he went off) and also is now a better distributor of the ball. He continues to be a serious liability at free kicks, though, and will never be as good at positioning himself or marshalling his defence as Toldo. Mancini has decided that Cesar is the better bet over the long term, and I don't really disagree with that decision anymore (I did at the beginning of last year), but you can't help but wishing that he would learn something from Toldo with regard to his weak points.
My sense is that Toldo somehow lacks ambition (certainly compared to someone like Buffon). He would rather stay at Inter as the no. 2 than go to any of a number of other clubs where he could start (including Fiorentina when Frey was hurt a while back). Not quite Recobaesque, but not completely dissimilar.
Speaking of Recoba, he is still an Inter player, and is rumoured to be on the verge of getting one more contract out of Moratti.

Udinese deserved this.
It makes me appreciate our good start more (even though Udinese are twice the team Livorno are).

He might start the next game to be honest. He hasn't played because Suazo was hot in preseason, and he had a slight injury problem.
But now I figure he might go next game.

Zlatan is the only striker that's guaranteed a starting place at Inter.
The rest will rotate.
