Default Mancio shadow over Zac

Roberto Mancini is again being tipped to replace Alberto Zaccheroni at Inter after the club’s recent slump.

Zac has only been in the job for a matter of months yet he may face the axe if the Nerazzurri’s desperate form continues.

The former Milan tactician replaced Hector Cuper earlier this season after the Argentine collected just nine points from six games.

Zaccheroni arrived and instantly turned things around after six wins and a draw from his first seven League matches.

Yet just when many thought Inter were finally ready to battle it out with the big boys, they’ve returned to their inconsistent ways.

As if to prove the point, Inter have collected just eight points from their last eight games. A run of form which has seen them lose at home to both Empoli and Udinese.

Inter now run the risk of failing to qualify for next season’s Champions’ League with Lazio currently three points ahead of them in the table.

Should the San Siro giants fail to net a place in Europe’s premier competition then a change of Coach may be considered at the end of the season.

The number one contender is Lazio’s Roberto Mancini who was already targeted last summer.

He decided to stay in Rome but he may now be willing to join Inter given Lazio’s continuing financial problems.

Mancini, who is tied to Lazio until 2008, has also been strongly linked with Real Madrid and Tottenham in recent weeks.

I don't think that getting rid of the coach is the problem that Inter has i bet its cuase they are going through that whole rebuilding phase so it will take awhile for them get back up, though the CL thing might not be a good thing going for them next season.

Confused, I think they need to give Zac more than 2 months?

Inter better give Zac a chance ...i mean he has more experience than Mancini plus he is an Inter fan so at least give him a full season...Now Inter is being linked with DelNeri too...I just hope Zac stays for the teams sake.He performed really well in big games against Roma, and Juve and given the players some confidence back
