It's being reported that Suazo has agreed a three year deal with Inter.

Suazo agrees to Inter - report
Thursday 17 May, 2007
Reports in Italy suggest that Cagliari striker David Suazo has agreed to a three-year contract with Inter.

The Honduran, who scored 13 goals this season, has been linked with a move from Cagliari after eight seasons at the Stadio Sant’Elia, with several big clubs interested in his services.

Thursday’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport titles that an agreement has been finalised between Suazo and Inter, who have offered the 27-year-old a three-year deal worth £1m per season.

The switch is claimed to be worth £10m to the Sardinian outfit, although some of the Nerazzurri’s youth team players could be included in the deal as well.

Massimo Moratti denied on Wednesday that there was any truth in the newspapers’ reports, but the signing is expected to be confirmed immediately after the end of the season.

Suazo wants to focus on helping Cagliari secure Serie A safety before any move is announced, with the Rossoblu just one point above the relegation zone with two games to play.

The news of Suazo’s arrival has also added weight to the rumours suggesting that Adriano is on the verge of leaving the San Siro.

The striker was dropped from Roberto Mancini’s Coppa Italia squad this week because of a knee injury, but the Brazilian’s time with the Nerazzurri seems near to its end.

Adriano, who has struggled so far this season and has hit the headlines for his behaviour off the pitch, is a reported target for Real Madrid after being paired with Los Blancos last summer.

Time will tell, I'm more concerned who they are giving up.

But Sauzo is pure class, he seems to have the right attitude and can really bury them.

Having said this, I worry that Crespo is leaving now.

Nice addition, but there is going to be some movement if this is true.

I'm very excited, as I like this kid. With our offensive nature, he could really bloom, and reach full potential.

If this comes to be, I think it might have to do with Crespo not being able to stay, and Chelsea calling him back. Even though he doesn't want to play there any more.

Crespo almost single handily beat Roma in the Coppa Italia. Crespo is amazing. I really like him a lot. Crespo and Cruz are my favs at Inter and Matrix/Grosso. But if Inter do get Suazo and they give Crespo to Chelsea...i will miss him. Even though he plays as a sub...he always makes an impact. But seeing Suazo make his great runs and blasts to the back of the net would be nice to see from a fans perspective as well!

Suazo > Adriano, at this moment anyway, but Crespo > Suazo.

Recent reports in Italy have suggested Crespo going to Juve. I Just wish Chelski to get off their high horse and let Crespo go, they are denying him of his happiness. I wish he could come back to Milan

That makes no sense, since they still have to deal with Chelsea, and I'm sure Inter can match any deal.

I rate Suazo over both Adriano and Crespo.

Inter Milan clinch Cagliari agreement for Suazo
tribalfooball.com - June 03, 2007

Inter Milan are on verge of agreement with Cagliari for exciting striker David Suazo.

Cagliari president Massimo Cellini is ready to sign off on the deal which will see defender Marco Andreolli arrive on a season-long loan and Robert Acquafresca join in co-ownership. Inter will also hand over £3.5 million cash.

Talks have also centred on the future of Victor Obinna, who is owned by Inter, despite his long-term loan with Chievo Verona. The Nigerian could replace Suazo at Caglari next season.
